Does anybody know where i can find a english sub version of the movie? I have only been able to find it in chinese…
I've been looking everywhere as well ;__; Dying to watch this, but I really want to see it with English subtitles so I can actually follow the story. It's been months............... Someone, please translate this to English!!!
Now that I know what an amazing drama is like, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to fully enjoy a semi-okay one....... I'll always ask myself; "Is it Healer?" "Is this as good as Healer is?" and the answer will be very likely a "no".
Guess I just have to rewatch this 329508095820938520935 times. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In episode 1, what did she write for the manuscript/speech that made the madame angry?
I was so confused about this as well. I made my Japanese friend watch it, and she said it was a kind of bullying. The old women were being petty and embarrassing Junko out of spite. She also said the translation (of the show) was a little off. In the translation (at least the one I was watching), one of the ladies said to Junko: "You don't think we're serious about learning English? That we're just playing around with a cute instructor?" And it's implied that Junko was insulting their intelligence with her speech. But really, they were telling her that they AREN'T serious about learning English, and they don't really care, as long as they get to play around with a cute instructor. It still doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I guess it was just setting up Junko as a people-pleaser.
I loved this drama. I wish it was about 529385290358 episodes longer, and I could still be entranced by these two lovely actors and the equally lovely characters they play. It was so unique and different, and so beautifully shot!
I loved every minute of this!!! Such a cute, sweet, feel-good movie. I just finished it, and I want to rewatch it right now!! It felt like a modern day fairy tale.... so sweet. :')
Wow. This was such an amazing drama. Literally everything anyone could want in a love story. I was pretty much bawling my eyes out/laughing through tears during the last 3 episodes. I will definitely be rewatching this many, many times!!!!
This was such a good movie!! It really surprised me. I thought it was very heartwarming, but also very intense and gripping in a quiet way. Literally! I thought the very minimal dialogue added to the feel of the movie. Overall, it was a really great film ^^
Watching this right now. I think it's really cute!
But DAYUM. That Momo-chan is a real B. I can hardly watch the scenes she's in, because she just gives me the creeps. What a psychopath.
I just watched the first ep. I really liked it, and I love yamapi, but I'm not sure if I should continue this,…
Yeah, it's pretty sad. Not sure if you want to know, so
DOUBLE SPOILER!!!!
Algernon loses his intelligence, and he dies. Charlie (Sakuto) also slowly begins to lose his intelligence, and he's aware that he's losing everything he gained, and remembers that he was once a genius. He can't face the people he loves, because of their pity for him. The novel ends with him requesting fresh flowers for Algernon's grave. :( Sad times, for real.
I just watched the first ep. I really liked it, and I love yamapi, but I'm not sure if I should continue this, having just finished the utter depression and bleakness that is Ouroboros.
I know how the book ends, and I'm just sayin', it's not a happily ever after. ;__;
WOw THAT WAS SO UPSETTING. I was definitely not expecting that ending, and I would have definitely appreciated a happily ever after for Ikuo and Mizuki :(((( and Tatsuya could have lived happily with Fukamashi, DAMMIT!
Crying for reals. I haven't been done in like this for a long time TT^TT
Just got back from a trip to Japan and I may have squealed with glee that this was a movie option on the airplane. Definitely made the long flight more enjoyable ;D It was a truly awesome movie that I will probably see 100 times more.
