Yeah, I don't think they'll give us a romance but they could still do that... I mean, if she loved him, would she say it there? Knowing that he's into Xuanling and that he only asked her cause he wants someone to be in love with him? Ofc she'd say no.

Hmm I guess in the end, it's just as you say, they could totally do it, but it depends if they are gonna focus on his chara when thinking about his arc or about the main couple and plot (and same for Feng Yao, not sure what plans they have for her. I hope they don't plan on them getting closer and then kill her so he's all alone and more sad villain™ later. I'd hate that!!)

I rewatched the scene and I'm starting to go insane. Aaaaaa I really ship them ;_; She looks unhappy and resigned when she says "You are obsessed with something" (Mu Xuanling) and then looks at him with adoring eyes... and he says "I'm not a good person" so he obviously cares about her and warns her it's not good for her to stay with him. But doesn't say anything about wanting her to leave, just that she should do what she wants and she was like I know all the shit you did and I still stay with you (why???). Also when she says "Maybe it's cause I don't have anywhere else to go" she isn't looking directly at him so it looks like she's not being truthful here and then when she adds "I don't have anything else to do" she looks directly at him, and that sounds like the typical line where you don't wanna admit you are staying for someone in a romantic context so idk... maybe it's wishful thinking BUT 👀 And AGAIN she looks like she adores him when he's looking away saying "then keep traveling with me". I don't think she's just thankful to him (he said she was wounded so I guess he helped her/saved her but she already "paid that debt" with her 10 years of service). I wonder if we'll get a flashback of their first meeting... That'd be so cool!

And later in the forest when she said "I thought it was supposed to be me protecting you" I think she was surprised, like she doesn't expect anything from him??? (Now I need to see an epic scene where they protect each other!) I'm suddenly too invested in this lol Please, writers, let her have a one-sided love at least or I'll end up writing fic!

Btw, I looove that he's so elegant and beautiful, kinda feminine, and she looks very soldier-like and practical which is more masculine-coded. Total opposites! But not in personalities, since both seem quiet and smart ❤️

Just saw the ep and oh how I wish they'd give us that ship!! I loved that scene between them and ngl i kinda got super excited on their other scene a few episodes ago when he noticed her taking care of him and asked if she'd die for him and she was like yes without even hesitating but shot him down also super quick when he asked if she loved him lol it was so good, i really wish she was lying ;_;

I'm not sure if they're gonna give us anything romantic there tbh, BUT i'm looking forward to more scenes of them 👀

Yeah, i loved that!! That scene between him and Xie Xuechen was great. I like their scenes a lot. Hope they'll rekindle their bromance at some point lol

And wow we got so many reveals... Not a fan of Xuanling being the chaos pearl. I know she's the main chara but it feels too much for me. And that weird birth story and the moment of Xie Xuechen and the sword?? Wtf? It felt so random to me lol At least now Sang Qi knows Su Ningxi didn't betray him ;_;

Hi! And once again: same! I still love Nan Xuyue. I was worried, cause in these past 2 episodes it looked like he was gonna become a villain just because of an obsession with Mu Xuanling (very boring thing to me lol) but it turned out he had been helping the bad guys for a while as I suspected! He's not the big bad and has his own agenda so I'm very satisfied. He's still a very nuanced character and Wang Duo is doing a great job. (His eyes when the leader of the decaying pavilion talked about killing Xie Xuechen omg!) I don't think he'll end well, he's in a very dangerous situation with the medicine and basically, he's kind of a "traitor to both sides". Btw, he feels a bit like Tantai Jin to me (maybe that's why I like him so much lol), in the sense that he's trying to understand love and I think he needs to learn to feel it himself, the kind of self-sacrificing love he wants from someone... Also, I was glad that it was his stepmom and not his actual mom who plotted against him, that would have been too much!!

And yesss, they are sisters! I'm so happy about it! Still very confused about the pearl, tho. Is it with their mom's body? Inside one of them? I hope they resolve this mystery soon... I want them to be Sang Qi's daughters, he's so girl dad to me lol and the mom definitely loved him. So disappointing that they seem to be both human tbh

As for the scene where she betrays Sang Qi... Even if she didn't drink the water I'm sure she was coerced in some way or controlled? possessed? Her tone and smile reminded me so much of Su Ningzhen there. She's very creepy lol

Yeah, I also think Qiumin's mom definitely loved Sang Qi, she must have been forced in some way to betray him :( And ohh I totally want our girls to be sisters! I'm so happy that they are interacting more in ep 17 although Xuanling doesn't feel much like herself rn.

Oh, I feel like we might be in different parts of the world cause I think the episodes drop for me when i'm sleeping xD Anyway, I finally managed to watch ep 16! I'm so happy that San Qi was in love with Qiumin's mom, makes him a better villain in my eyes. He was a lover and now he's a hater lol

I'm worried about Xuyue, tho. I don't want him to become so fixated on Xuanling, seems like she's gonna become his only agenda. Not fun :(

Yeah, I'd love if the girl he's been dreaming about wasn't Xuanling but it doesn't look like it... :( Things are gonna get just more complicated for the 3 of them XD

his tragic past, omg!! Not only an awful dad but also an awful brother and mom!! I can't believe it... It's so sad ;_; Also, you were right! He's a good guy! (at least for now XD) now I'm kinda hoping he'll remain good cause we rarely get good guys that are as interesting as him! He's so hypnotic to watch... I love the friendship between the 3 main charas so much. I can't wait to see what happens next!

yeah, so much heartbreak in TTEOTM... I need more happy endings too!! Hoping this has a good ending and that it becomes more successful so Zhenni can have more lead roles :)

Yeah, I expect to like ML more as the story unfolds but tbh I don't expect to love him, all my love is already for SML too lol (And Qiumin! I surprisingly like her a lot. Xuanling is really harsh with her but makes sense since she really clings to the past...) But yeah, I'm super happy for Zhenni, this role was made for her! She's perfect. I hope she gets a better ending here for Xuanling than Pianran's ending in TTEOTM. Defintely Zhenni and Wang Duo are the stars of the show for me! They are sooo good! I love all their scenes even when I don't really ship FL/SML

yeah, it's a shame it isn't getting that much attention. I like xianxia and I liked Sun Zhenni in TTEOM so that's why I started watching it but I hope more people will start to notice it. And yeah, probably having it on viki will help! I'm on too many apps too lol

I love evil charas but as long as they keep his character consistent and interesting I don't mind if he's good or bad. Although I feel like a lot of things point to him as being the bad guy... I feel the same! I adore SML and this usually never happens to me haha but I loved him almost instantly! That flashback with him and kid FL was so charming and beautiful. And I love all you mentioned about him... I know people don't want him to "turn evil" but I love evil guys and I'm pretty sure there's something dark about him (I suspect he killed his dad? and he's the leader of the other organization? I like how he described this leader as someone "with grace" he's the only character that matched that description haha) I also really like his friendship with ML so I guess this will get angsty... Maybe I'm wrong but I think SML will be the sad villain type. I also adore all the side characters, everyone is cute! The only one I'm not very interested is ML but I don't dislike him. FL is amazing, Sun Zhenni shines like a star here! I'm so surprised with this drama, I didn't expect much after the 1st episode, it didn't really grab me but I keep watching because of Zhenni and I'm glad! Wow, sorry for the long comment I'm dying to talk about this drama with someone haha
