The pace and scheming in this one makes it really addictive. I can't stop watching! I'm so glad I started the year with this drama. I hope it sets the tone for the rest of my drama-watching year.

We finally got our confession... BUT AT WHAT COST 😭 We already knew it was gonna be sad but wow it was TRAGIC. Still a beautiful scene and a beautiful ship, both actors did really good in THE SCENE. I loved it ;_; I knew there was no happy ending for them but I'm still sad that we didn't get more of them, especially of NXY instead of Fate :(

I just watched ep 26 and omg, wtf Nan Xuyue?? what have you done??! xD A LOT happened BUT i'm so intrigued about Feng Yao now. Maybe it's nothing, but in the scene where he revealed his plan to her they didn't show her face at all until the end when she calls him a madman and is angry with him, but i found very interesting that suddenly she had more/stronger makeup?? Odd choice. I only see those kinds of glow-ups in romantic scenes but that wasn't that at all. Still... she appeared to save him!! I'm sooo curious about their next interaction. Just watched ep 23! Honestly, Feng Yao seems as devoted to him as Mu Xuanling is to Xie Xuechen. (Loved how Xuanling clocked Xuyue in that talk they had lol I love him but yes, girl, tell him!)
I guess since Feng Yao lost her little brother (and whole family before that?) and feels very guilty about it, she's giving herself completely to care/save someone, and that someone is Nan Xuyue. It's not that she doesn't have anything better to do. It's that she decided that he is now her life's purpose. At least that's how I see it. And the way she talks sometimes and the questions she asks him... She's so invested in his happiness she seems to see herself just as an extension of him. This girl has no life outside of him! lol I agree, she must be in love!? But he doesn't really see her :((
We got a few scenes of her looking at him/his back in this ep and omg this is getting painful already ;_; She seems very worried, I hope she doesn't do anything stupid for him but yeah, she might sacrifice herself :(( Open your eyes, Nan Xuyue!! Your love is right in front of you!! God, I'm so stressed! lol And his clothes and makeup keep getting darker and he keeps getting sadder ;_; You are right, this might end in tragedy.
