To me, an action movie should hook you right away and make every minute count.
The opening was weak as hell, but I thought, "Okay, let me give it a chance." AND THEN?! They dragged it out for 30 freaking minutes with this dude just RUNNING!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!
What the hell is going on with movies these days?! 💀 First off, this movie isn’t even tagged as a comedy, so why the hell are you throwing in random comedy scenes?! IT’S AN ACTION MOVIE!!
And seriously?! 30 minutes of chasing something without even showing us WHAT they’re chasing?! Are you kidding me?!
On top of that, the pacing was painfully slow, and NOTHING hooked me. Dropped it after 40 minutes. No way I’m sitting through 2h 40m of this!! 💀

So far, I haven't watched a single 40-episode Chinese drama without skipping scenes or getting bored.
And honestly, I feel like Chinese historical dramas don't focus that much on romance, especially the moments between the ML and FL. Or am I wrong?
