I agree that they should have tried to give more focus to Injae. Not really outshine the Main FL but atleast give more Injae's story. She is shown to be highly competent, and she has character development towards the end.

I'll just like to disagree on your statement that the cheating plot doesn't fit. I know it is overused in BL shows BUT the cheating plot made sense in this series.

The build up for the cheating plot is properly done. I mean, they are from 2 different universities which are far apart. They have shown that the couple tried to be together but is still having difficulty. They gave us scenes that made us feel that they are falling out of love. They gave us scenes where we can see that Jai and Teh might potentially do something. I'll say that the plot fits in this series. It is not just thrown up out of nowhere just for the sake of conflict. I'll say these events are realistic.
