btw im just really curious on why they speak japanese here and there, like whats the story behind it.?
just like in Because of You where one speaks korean. Maybe they have difficulty memorizing some dialogues in their language They probably think that international fans won't care since we depend on subs hahaha
I know the team puts a lot of effort in this show and makes sure thag the show is great but after watching a chance to love and tharntype 2 (though their 1st season is not so great to begin with, compare to ITSAY), im now afraid of season/part 2
I wonder if the increase in attention is due to kiss in episode 5 or the rating glitch that made it no. 1. Nevertheless, I love that this show is getting the attention it deserves
What a boring last episode. Never thought of associating TharnType with monks LolReligion is such nonsense and…
I also find the monkship weird at first(cause I'm not from thailand and I am not familiar with the culture) . I read some articles and found out that being ordained in Thailand is really common. One of the purpose of being ordained before marriage is for his parents to have merit (which I presume is important in having a good afterlife). So I think Type is thinking that this is the least he can do for his parents because he can't give his parents something g they really want, grandchildren. Also, it is shown in the show that Type does not hate being a monk so I don't think the story of Type being a monk should be a big issue relating to LGBT like what you just did. I think they just did somewhat well in respecting the culture and Types' parent. I personally prefer it that way instead of simply going against his family.
As a family-oriented guy, that is my stand since I want my family to have a good life, even in the afterlife even when they are annoying. Afterall, I'm fighting for acceptance and not independence.
Although I'm not religious, I just hope you can respect other's religion/culture. If you can't, atleast keep the hate to yourself(don't spread it) or post it in a more appropriate page.
Their fist kiss scene in the bridge where their lips just touch, i thought to myself that "this story is so good that ill just accept that as kiss scene" then they gave us true kiss huhuhu justice for this show
There is really something about this show hahaha. I mean the plot is so ordinary but i don't know they make it extraordinary. The bridge scene where they "first kiss", instead of making it full romantic, they have a conversation to make the mood lighter, they laugh while crying, this acting is so refreshing. Not so heavy, not so light, just the right balance, the best approach to BL for me
Same, it is one of the few scenes that i liked in this season. I'm one of the many who wished for season 2, but…
Actually, I like what they did better - Asking Tharn to wait after being ordained. He is somehow paying respect to his culture and his parent and still standing his ground for love - >and not just breaking societal norm in the name of love. But this is just my preference hahaha
Dude how is Tharn and Type teasing Type's dad the highlight of this season....it finally felt as if they had that…
Same, it is one of the few scenes that i liked in this season. I'm one of the many who wished for season 2, but the purpose is to see more romance and fun in their relationship. Maybe, also a bit of conflict for story but I want season 2 mainly for comedic romance and not these messy plot they gave us.
It is said here that when Men are married, the merit is passed to his wife instead of parents. I think this merit is important for the afterlife of people so Type wants his parents to have a lot of merit and this can be done through being ordained as a monk (ordaining before marriage so the merit will go to his parents and not his "wife") . Since Type won't have children which his parents want, giving them merit (for the afterlife) is the least he can do for them.
Wish You and Craving You are better than this one, but out of these short dramas this one gets so much more praise..…
Personally, I liked it way way better than other BL due to intense emotions and chemistry. For me I felt the suppressed emotions, i mean the eyes of Jang Eui Soo is my god one of the most intense window to emotions. . This kind of interaction is a refreshing take on BL (instead of enemy to lovers). The length of the series is quite short so focusing only on fee stories is better. Although I liked the series better (since I'm a fan of internal monologues) I'm still glad they made a different version(movie) that you might like better. Well from episode 1, you can already guess that Tae Joo will be forced to go to England in the latter episodes.
Actually I'm still racking my brain on what real side stories are you referring to woth Wish you (If it is about his parents not wanting him to sing, the story is kinda weak for me as there are a lot of "missing" scenes/story to build it up. I don't hate Wish you, I just hope the story is better. It just so happen that I liked WYEL better.
I can't believe out of all the great BL series recently, Netflix paid for this one. The actors were expressionless,…
I have same thoughts with you regarding inclusion in Netflix. I hoped they included Where Your Eyes Linger first so a lot of people can see it and to improve the BL market worldwide. I mean in this website, WYEL has better appreciation than Wish You. (It is not that I don't want this in netflix, but same with you, they could have chosen different bl first)
Ugh, Seriously? What about married couples together for 15 years that get divorced, huh? Finding numerous clues…
Well I am a child of divorced parents (11 years) so I somehow know/felt the eventd of going to divorce and in my experience it doesn't go that. zeven if it just my experience and the scenes in the show is different, the show doesn't made sense in a way that it is too abrupt that the conflict is not built up properly.
And now they are number 1 and the best
a good way to promote the show
