They're both among my favorite actors. I always thought PBY was a good actor, so I'm surprised by the gap in skill level btw her and KGE. I never realized until now the difference.

I'm a Park Bo Young fan, but I gotta admit, she's no Kim Go Eun. I'm going to wait for her character's turning point, but I think this is the first time I've noticed her limits as an actor. It also doesn't help that the director and writer are both men who don't seem to know how to create complex female characters. The actor who plays Woogi is a pleasant surprise though.

I really like it so far. It's refreshing to see a crime thriller with a female lead. I'm so used to seeing dramas with this tone and genre with male leads.

Is Gwangsoo a good actor? He seems to be in good projects, but his acting is hit or miss for me. It also feels exaggerated and over the top to me in this drama.

She has range. Some of her most well known roles include a sex-obsessed ghost, a high school bully, a superhero, and a rebellious dropout.

I just knew from reading that crazy description that this would be by the same scriptwriter who wrote Love (ft Marriage and Divorce) and Durian's Affair. I like both the director and scriptwriter, so I'm looking forward to this!

The beginning was typical, but as the show progresses, it's not typical at all imo. There's unexpected twists and plot points and it has a message about what's meaningful in life, and the beauty of humanity. I agree the show feels dated, but I'm watching bc Lomon is swoony in this role, and Kim Hyeyoon is a little cartoonish, but has the acting chops to pull it off. I'm also interested in seeing Lomon play in the 4th division.

In my opinion, the second male lead lacks presence. It's a shame bc the second female lead is promising.
Anyways, I love Ahn Eun Jin! She adds so much reality and depth, and also adorableness to her character.

I actually love that ML thinks FL is married bc we'll see more bickering and chemistry!

So it seems two out of three female leads will get better partners!

I love seeing actors in their 40s, but this drama might be a little too realistic and family focused for me. For example, the husbands are useless. But I'm rooting for Kim Heesun's character's comeback. And it seems Jin Seo Yun will have a fun romance with a physical therapist. So tuning in for now.

Best drama of 2025, no competition. I like that the ending shows that they are bonded by what they went through together, and also their innate personalities. They have both crossed the line morally, and have lost family members.

After Hansel and Gretel pushed the witch in the stove (committing evil for good or survival), it seems Hansel succumbed to darkness, but Gretel was able to resist temptation.

He's already done several mature roles that received good reviews like A Killer Paradox and The Witch. He's an amazing actor so he can pull off any role. Bong Joon Ho also recognizes his talent and has cast Choi Woo Shik in two of his movies.

The evil Botte heir is pretty cute. I wish he was the second male lead, not Meri's ex.

The plot, writing and directing is cliche, but Choi Wooshik is killing it! He's so funny! He matches this role. And Jung Somin is so pretty. Enjoying this drama!

This is a comedy, but I'm enjoying the small town dynamics. Jeon Yeo Been is still acting her socks out.

There's amazing chemistry. There's also a quite a few hints and semi-romantic situations and physical contact. IMO it's heavily implied, and there's more of those scenes than I expected.

IMO James likes her, both as a partner/friend and as someone with qualities he admires and longs for, and romantically. He painted her and he gazed at her leaning on the tree. But this drama is realistic bc James isn't going throw away his 10 year plan for a budding crush. He's only known her for a few weeks. With more time, it could grow, but it won't bc their situation will end soon. Someone predicted James is going to take the fall for everything. I think that's a good prediction.

1. I loved the symbolism where Kim Young Kwang paints a portrait of Lee Young Ae, and ends up covering her in black water. It's obvious at this point that he likes her, such as the way he gazed at her hugging the tree. The fall foliage and the scene of them walking by the river was so beautiful. I love the directing, cinematography, and music.
2. When the stooge was murdered, I was like, "whoa!! I can't believe it went there!! There is no redeeming KYK after that. I like how ruthlessly dark this drama is." But when it was revealed KYK didn't kill him, I couldn't help feeling relieved. I like how this drama shows the heavy cost of crime, while balancing lightness.
3. I like Kim Young Kwang in a noona romance bc it shows his soft, vulnerable side, and also his cute side.
4. I like the symbolism of KYK having festering wounds. It symbolizes corruption and how things are rotting and falling apart underneath the surface. This drama is giving Breaking Bad moments of brilliance.
