Best scenes for me yet: 1. umbrella scene, 2. church scene where Anna sung Amazing Grace, 3. the Cloud Nine Room…
omg you're so right about Anna's ramen scenes lol I actually hate that he has to monitor her. It's creepy and it just makes me sad that she doesn't have control over her own life.
How do they intend to remake a 7 year long show in just 16 episodes?
I'm wondering this too although the pacing of the Korean version is much faster. It's only episode 4 and Lee Tae Joon is already out of prison and back home but in the American version over half the first season (about 14 episodes) is spent on his trial before he's released. At this rate they could probably cover 3 seasons within the 16 episodes unless they introduce major time jumps to cover all 7. I wonder if there will be a second season so it's more balanced out?
Looks like Wan and Shing Shing won't get together until the last episode. To say I'm disappointed is putting it lightly :(

Ohh really? I didn't know they changed script writer for inspiring generation. I hope it doesn't go downhill.
With I need romance 3 my main issue is the whole love triangle situation. It's lazy writing and I feel like it greatly detracts from time that could be spent on Shin Shin/Wan's storyline. We're at the halfway point and there has been very little progression between them (and I wouldn't consider Wan "helping" Shin Shin realise her "feelings" progression because that whole thing is a waste of time too). But idk we'll see. I just hope things turn around and they stop focusing on the love triangle because it's such an overdone plot device.

I'm also watching you who came from the stars and I need romance 3! You who came from the stars has been really great, however I'm not too happy with where romance 3 is going : (
Inspiring generation is another one I'm watching atm which has been pretty good. I've heard positive things about Empress Ki and Let's Eat so those are probably worth checking out as well!

Hi new friend ^_^ thanks for the request! How are you? Are you watching anything good lately? It looks like we enjoy a lot of the same dramas! I'll be fun to discuss them with you in the future.
This show started off well but there are 3 things that are really brothering me rn:
1. The love triangle they have going on between Oh Se Ryung/Shin Shin/Kang Tae Yoon. It's messy and ultimately lazy writing imo.
2. The fact that they're backing the one woman who enjoyed being single into a life long commitment via a 'miracle' pregnancy. Not only is this lazy too but it's rude because there are many women who enjoy being single and are constantly made to feel like their lives are lacking because they don't want to be in a committed relationship.
3. Insisting that Shin Shin doesn't understand her own feelings. She may be insensitive/socially awkward but they're pushing it to the point where it isn't believable. Not being able to tell she's heartbroken? Please, every girl can tell.
Also Wan's wardrobe is sooo ridiculous lately omg.
Something about this show has me HOOKED and it's so strange because it's not even offering anything new and yet I'm really excited for the next episode. I think I just like the way Wan looks at Shing Shing heh. Some parts are a bit creepy (like son, don't go into her house w/o her knowing and clean everything smh), but it's easy to overlook. There's no aggressive arm grabbing so I'm not gonna complain lol.
