Yanzhao worried for a 100 bucks taxi bill some weeks ago, now shining at Cannes 🥹✨️ Hope he gets his brands deals and more important some new roles in the future if that's what he wants. He's a gem.
He shouldn't have been casted in Taxi Driver, especially knowing what Taxi Driver represents. I don't care that…
Also he's not even a great actor. The only reason he keeps getting villains roles is because no viewer is going to believe he's decent if he gets a regular character, lmfao.

LOVED Taxi Driver, hands down the best kdrama to recommend. Got pretty emotional thinking this one is the last one, and I'm pretty happy with the Rainbow Team's ending, if this is their ending. Some stories need to end to not get the curse of bad writing. LOVe IT. My comfort series. My family 🚕🌈
HOWEVER, casting that Lee Kyung Young? actor is... everything contrary to what Taxi Driver represents. And I know, it's fiction, but the premise of this show and its foundation was to acknowledge the horrible situations victims, even real víctima cases that inspired this story. So I don't know who's idea was that but it was the most pointless decision a show like this could make.
Was that a DVD, not VHS? :P Well... there's more of these. LCD screens at the hospital, infrared faucets at the…
Ahh, I see. Hahaha, I didn't caught the object, I probably was confused by the subs translation then. It didn't ruin the story for me either, I was just fixated in a detail and confused by the timeline.
There's something that has been bugging me so bad. There's an episode where Liuyi mentions having to get a DVD, and that he had some dvds before. I know it's fiction an inspired in a lawless city, but that lawless city in reality was dismantled in 1994, and Dvds were released in 1996. So what's the actual date of the story after Liuyi's sister and brother in law died? I think it's a huge mistake in the script, maybe just a detail for most, I just wish I knew the actual years, cause it doesn't make sense in the timeline.
Cliff hanger aside, Liuyi and Chusan's story was really satisfying. It really is so rare to see such chemistry and good actors combined. This story's slow build and tenderness is also what I liked the most. All in all a rare gem, and with only 9 episodes. I don't want to get my hope up with a second season, but if they really get it, I hope it maintains the elements the first one got right, and give a happy ending.
Underrated series. I'm gonna miss the characters so much. I loved even the antagonist. And I feel like it would be so hard to find something with this cozy vibes and friendship. Also such good actors, and such beautiful aesthetics. Over all, great production.
I only have one complaint, why they didn't reveal they're blood brothers? That would've made it easier for the last episode, there wouldn't have been the need to mention that Lan Jue was a father, as it didn't made any sense we didn't see the child. But anyways, in my mind Pingping and Lan Jue are siblings, and live happy ever after 💖
On episode nine, they had four cups just served on the table with no liquid. Like, at some point you can't just rely on an amazing cast, you need to bring detail and craft to storytelling and notice what the viewer is watching.
C'mon. When is China going to do something about their corrupt businesses making moves about entertainers to be banned for doing nothing wrong? I love a lot about China but they definitely owe a public apology to Zhang Zhehan, and whoever was behind that cancelation owes him compensation, not to mention jail time for their lies and paid water armies.
