I really liked your article. Congratulations to your first article on MDL!!!

I actually started watching Strong woman Do Bong Soon a couple of days ago. So you're article motivated me to watch it to the end (no opinion yet because I've only seen 2 eps :p).

What really? I didn't know Bae Suzy wasn't recognized that well as an actress (Loved her in Dream High and.... ok that was the only drama i watched with her, hrmhrm...) . I'm sorry for this possible unpopular opinion but i don't think she can destroy Lee Jong Suk's career. He is more than capable of doing that by himself if he doesn't get more versatile or at least chooses other characters/dramas. Every time i see him i get some deja-vu vibes from his character portrayals and his acting (and in conclusion always get the feeling i saw that drama before even if i didn't. well, at least my MDL-list tells me that. I'm getting a little suspicious here...). That may be alright for the time being but not if he wishes to stay a lot longer in this industrie. Actually i think the drama would have been better if they made "Batman" the male lead (second lead syndrome here *wavesflag*)^^ Well, i don't know, Lee Jong Suk is just not my cup of tea...*sigh*

I liked the soldat vs. doctor theme in DotS. I just wished they explored the conflict between those two occupations a little more and deeper. I really liked to get to know the mindset of soldats a little more because I actually don't really know anything about them (well, besides the countless Hollywood war Movies that I've watched).

I finally got to watch some dramas on my PTW-List while participating at the 2018 Watch Challenge. It's a great way to get out of your comfort zone and take on some dramas with settings you normally don't watch. I can really say that that is a great way of taking on your PTW-List^^

I really like your tips but I'm not ready to part from my PTW-List (that is steadily growing bigger instead of melting slowly away T-T ). Nevertheless i especially like the tips to reduce the PTW-List. That's a great help for the future. lol

The currently watching list should have less than 40 Dramas in it?! Great! I'm safe here. hehe^^ Now i don't feel as bad about the 22 Dramas hanging around my CW-List anymore ;p

Person Son Suk Ku
Now i know who he is... Detective Moon from Sense8! Loved him in that Netflix series^^
I'm happy to see him in a Kdrama. I hope he will get a lot more roles in the future. Love his acting.

Ahaha yes yes if you wanna watch it while it's hot ;) if you know what I mean B)
This is a line from the song "Coffee" by Supersister. But I read it on twitter some time ago too. So I guess it's a quote used quite often?!

I encountered all of the above in the sixth year of my drama addiction (am now in my 11th). And I can proudly say I got cured (by myself). There maybe some times when I am dangerously close to a setback but for now i overcame them all.

I just love what i love. There is no one in this world who can judge that better than me.

I wish you would post at least the first three (or five) winners of each category so that i can discover a pearl i missed out on^^ That would be really nice.

I don't think Goblin deserves so many awards. I really feels it's overrated and overhyped. I've heard so much…
I agree with you. The only thing i enjoyed a lot was the reaper and his story. I found Goblin draggy and not that well thought out. I didn't really bother for the main romance. There were so many dramas that were definitely a lot better than Goblin but hey the same goes for every drama of that writer. Her dramas get hyped a lot but the quality of her dramas is just average if you look at it objectively. It seems like she can implement always a little special something in her dramas that just makes people ignore the whole lot of flaws. That is a talent in itself so cudos to that.

Tattoos? Ähm maybe I'm wrong on that assumption but i thought tattoos are like a part of the chinese culture? Coming from there and all that. Or does that only go for the chinese gangster world? On that thought: What about mob/gangster dramas/movies now? Do they get an exception? It would be a little weird to watch a chinese gangster movie with not a single gangster having a tattoo...

Article Reply 2007!
I started watching Dramas in 2017.. as in just now.. very very now... but its surprising to me that even I have…
I feel the same way about Hana Kimi (2007). The japan version is the best *thumpsup* I think this year this will go on my rewatch list. I need to meet Oscar, Tennoji, Nanba, Nakatsu, Kayashima, Umeda and all the other crazies again Lol.

2007 was the year when i came across asian dramas (through the live adaptations of animes^^). It was harder to feed your daily drama doze that time because a lot of dramasites now available weren't even available then (or i didn't know of them at that time). I was so really grateful when i found mydramalist in 2011 because by then i had already watched so many dramas that i lost count and tried to start an excel list on which dramas i already watched. Lol.
Ah the memories...^^ I saw every drama/movie mentioned here. Coffee Prince, Hana Kimi, Proposal Daisakusen, Koizora, They kiss again and 9 end 2 outs especially have and will always have a special little place in my heart as the dramas that introduced me to the vast world of asian dramas and made me into a drama loving addict <3 <3 <3 *hug*

I agree that Radiant Office isn't your drama if you expect a romantic comedy and a drama that solely revolves around the main couple. But it is worth your time as a slice of life drama and for all the little touching relationships around the office and the lessons on life itself. It's really heartwarming and i found myself rooting for almost every character here. Feeling frustrated, angry, sad, happy alongside them, laughing and crying with them. They were all really relatable and i liked their character growth throughout the drama. It was definitely worth it and one of my favorites in 2017.

Since I found a korean restaurant in a town not too far away from my home I tried a lot of different korean dishes there. One of my favorites is Bibimbap because it changes with the season and its served in a hot stone bowl. It's totally delicious!

Well i don't think it is an official remake. Many reviews point out similarities between Luc Bessons Movie and…
ah, ok. My bad. It seems like there is a limit of how many underlines (don't know if that's the right word for it. Hope you know what i mean^^) can be displayed. because even when i want to reply to you it just stacks right under my post. That makes posting a little complicated.

It doesn't seem like i made myself clear. So let me just tell you again. I never said it is a remake. I didn't come across that claim in the different articles and reviews I read about the movie. And that is all I know. That's why i wrote that it seems to be inspired by that movie and others.
Well, it seems like that was the right deduction since you saw that interview.

I actually don't usually rate unfinished dramas either (only those I'm really getting mad at). So your comment made me think that in the rating itself all the people who dropped the drama aren't displayed at all, aren't they?! That's actually quite interesting. Maybe a list with dramas that were dropped by more people than people who finished the drama would be quite an interesting list. I should pay a little more attention to the stats section of the dramas I'm interested in. Just for my curiosity^^
