I ended up not loving this drama but you reminded me of what I liked most about it. The cameos were great (except Kim Seul Gi's, I felt they wasted her talent, unlike her hilarious cameo in WF Kim Book Joo). Also the secondary characters were attractive, in fact I think their personal conflicts were very well constructed. The villain, above all, is one of the best wicked women I've ever seen in dramaland. I also loved the unpredictable noona romance of the end.
The reason cause I love Coffee Prince Is because there I saw the first REVERSE PIGGYBACK RIDE and it was amusing. But to be honest my favourite change is that of the girl iniciating the kiss
Coffee Prince marked me definitely, not only is my favorite romcom of all time but also made me addicted to gender-bender and Eun-hye. It has one of the couples with the best chemistry in dramaland and one of the fiercest and most humanly real female lead. Beautiful from start to finish. This collage is pure heart, I love it.
I'll try ITWY and Prince of Lan Ling, I absolutely love watching strong female leads. Also, I haven't seen more than two non-Korean dramas, but you convinced me chingu. Thank you for an article so well documented and so full of passion. Something tells me that I'll become a follower of Ariel very soon.
This is one of the most entertaining articles I've read here! I agree on almost everything. What I most detest are the dumb and helpless female leads. Some of them are tolerable and even normal because there are all kinds of people in the world, but when they can't even dream for themselves, they are totally insufferable.
