Title Home for Summer Spoiler
Okay - I'm gonna ruffle feathers. My take on Geum Hee's mom bringing her grandson back to the orphanage. Yes bad choice. Panic'd choice. However as a mother myself I could understand her momentary lapse in judgement. Adultery isn't just a betrayal between spouses but on the family as a whole. And I think it's reasonable to worry about her daughter's ability to be a single mom - and whether or not a single parent home would affect him negatively. I'm not saying I agree, I don't. My mom was single. But I do understand the worry. Emotions are running high.

I think ep 52 - was a wake up call for Geum Hee's mom - and the entire family giving the voice of reason to some of conflict.

Joon Ho - again , not my cup of tea at all. He's still self centered - however I can't help but feel a bit of an ugg in my tummy as I see him start to realize the ramifications of his actions. I think we've all been in a place where did something so out of character or in the heat of the moment only to realize life will never be the same because of it. There's nothing like a good dose of regret to shake you up.

Sang Mi - still totally selfish. She's far from repenting and I'm not sure she ever will. I hope her and Joon ho fail miserably as a couple., but I guess that's the vindictive side of me.

This drama is really good - I like the "realness" of each character. I just hope folks can try to understand Geum Hee's mom - she loves' her daughter, and it's hard to know how we''ll respond in situations we've never been in. I think she's going to embrace being the grandma and sock it to anyone who tries to mess with Geum Hee and her grandson.

Patiently awaiting on how Wang Geum Hee and Joo Sang Won's romance is gonna pan out as she doesn't even want to…
Yeah, me too. But I do like how they are taking the time to build a more in depth character in Geum Hee. It'll be fun to watch her grow as a woman/mom. I'd rather her find some independence first .

I just love Geum Hee's character. I wasn't sure how she'd respond to the whole affair/divorce. Man she is like a steady arrow in spite of how painful it is inside for her. She's really showing Joon Ho that she was with him not because she "needed" to be but because she loved him. Now that the trust is broken beyond repair she's moving forward life and I think it's really making him uncomfortable at how much distance she's putting between them.

The past 3 days has felt like watching real life drama. Again, the acting in this show is really good, not to mention the writing. I really hate when shows are so off the mark that you find yourself frustrated with the plot. This however, is not like that at all.

Geun Hee's mother. I totally feel for her. She's watching her baby girl suffer and still trying to help her hang onto her marriage. I get that folks want them to divorce ( I mean I do too) but you know it's hard to bury 13 years of love and family even if Joon Ho is wuss.

As for Sang Mi's mom - yeah I don't like her reaction to this, but I keep trying to remember that her desire is to protect her daughter. I mean with the exception of asking Joon Ho to divorce his wife, she hasn't really don't anything over the top (yet).

I think the thing I like best in this show, is that nothing is too extreme to believe. I can totally see everyone behaving the way that they are. Anyway - I keep watching it raw, only to watch it subbed later in the day. I've never really done that before ... it's just too good to wait.

Okay - hear me out. I've never really liked Joon Ho moody personality - and even though what he has is doing is wrong and self serving, I think he did genuinely love Geum Hee once upon a time. I still think deep down he does and once he loses her it will really hit him.

Make no mistake, I don't feel bad for him at all - even if Sang Mi initiated it all. He could have said no, but he didn't. Anyway, it was super sad this episode. I'm surprised how pulled in I am with the show. Monday seems like it will take forever.

The acting in this drama is excellent. The writers are doing a great job unfolding the affair. I think the fact that Geum Hee trusts her husband so much up to this point will only make it that much harder to see her hurt.

I think - and it's purely a guess, Geum Hee is going to ask for a divorce based on the fact that Sang Mi is pregnant and that she doesn't have a biological child Joon Ho. I've read comments elsewhere suggesting the baby is from the guy Sang Mi was with prior ... that would be a real poke in the eye for Joon Ho later down the line.

And I adore Sang Won ... talk about unwavering in all respects. I can't wait til he gets together with Geum Hee.

Okay I didn't hate Joon Ho and Sand Mi - I mean I didn't like them either - but after the last 2 episodes .. I'm starting to loathe them. They're doing a fantastic job of not being remorseful and now Sang Mi's and Joon Ho's mothers on board.

I'm falling in love though with Sang Won - man he's doing wonderful being a good friend/protector to Geum Hee. I love that he tackles thing head on with Sang Mi and Joon Ho, and I really hope that his dad doesn't approve of JH & SM, even though in the end they'll get married.

It's still too early in the show too guess what's going happen, however I do like how it's not over the top in the drama department.

All time best "couples" - loved the 4 main leads, they did such a great job. I'd watch this again in a heartbeat.

The plot thickens .. well, sort of. I just loved Joon Ho's face when he saw his wife walking with Joo Sang - "That's my wife"... I detect a tone of jealousy.

Wait til Sang Mi gets pregnant and there's no turning back. I suspect a whole lot of pinning away in the future for the "good wife" that he gave away. Serves him right.

woahh ep 3 & 4 the run time was Infinite it wasn't finishing I had a hard time to complete watching the eps, the…
Yeah I hope the first 4 episodes were the plot/character builders and that that SJk will have more of a main lead role, cause right now he's playing cast support. They kind of dropped the ball with the last scene - I think they spent way too much time on the prayer/chant dance/oracle and even with the gma's send off.

I'll see it through cause I really like how different it is compared other Korean shows and I'm interested in seeing how it all plays out. I did think some of the acting was a bit stiff for some reason I'm not sure why. Hopefully next weekend will round it out more.

Joon Ho gets what he deserves with the Sang Mi - she's giving a new definition to crazy. I think he's going to regret having gotten into this affair, but it will be too late because Sang Mi will be pregnant with his child. Although I'm not keen on Sang Mi's mom, at least she's trying to get her daughter sorted.

Although Geum Hee's and Sang Won's story line is going a bit slow I like the fact that neither one at this point is thinking more than just friendship. I can't tell yet but I think Joon Ho is going to have a lot of angst moving forward about the bad choice he made.

Oh, I hadn't thought that! That would be shocking!
In the beginning when they made note that the mom made him breakup with his girlfriend I thought there must be more to this. Why leave for 6 years "after" you breakup. Why breakup? Why didn't he leave with his girlfriend. I might be thinking too much.

Right now for the most part it's hard to say how the story will play out. I mean sure the infidelity is pretty obvious where all that will go - I'm guessing Sang Mi get's pregnant cause right now her mom knows she's cheating and doesn't look too happy. I think once a baby is in the equation there will be no turning back.

My guess is, Geum Hee's adoptive son is Sang Won's real son - either his ex had a baby with no one knowing, or his mom made his ex put him up for adoption.

Joon Ho - "the husband"- moody, unhappy, and looking for an escape. Jang Sang Mi - "the other woman" - no moral compass, insecure. They've definitely done a good job building up the antagonists. Funny thing is as much as I don't like what JSM did by approaching JH even though she knew he was married - I dislike him more. He's temperamental and feels he's the victim in life.
