I definitely agree with you- Oh Yeon Seo character is so irritating. I don't think it's the actors and actresses fault but the writers. The plot is seriously a mess and they made Sam Jang whiny, weak, and a damsel in distress. IMO, we need to get with the time and age and start showing badass heroines instead. I'm seriously only watching because this is Lee Seung Gi first drama after coming back from the army.
Who else thinking of dropping it? I've watched ep5 but ep6 will be the last chance I think.. it was too fast…
Just finished episode 7 here, and I am on the verge of calling quits for the same reasons. Doesn't hold my attention quite well. I want more Deok Bong moments but Na Ri doesn't even give him any attention -cry-.
Holy moly your review is on point! I felt the same way about the romance. It really deterred me at certain times because it felt forced or something along that point. He falls in love because she was basically an anomaly in his life, however I feel that there just wasn't enough depth in that concept to blossom their romance. But it's definitely watchable like you said. :D
I was going through some old journals that I wrote back in 2005 and saw an entry that said " Jux watch temptation of wolves, really good, cry my eyez out" (I was 12) So current me was like hey, let's see if I would still have the same reaction. Oh boy, I definitely did.
I think people who just NOW watch this compare to people who watched it back in the 2000s would say this movie is fairly weird, but the elements of this movie was pretty popular back then (i.e autumn in my heart, love love that drama)
I did cringe at some part watching it again, but it still tugged at my heart and spew salty liquid from my eyes.
So far the pilot got me feeling a little unease. Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Soo Hyun acting was superb, but on the other hand IU tries too hard with the "nonchalance, difficult, bad girl" act that it just felt really dull imo, her part on music bank was really hot though.
Right now I'm not really feeling it, but we'll see how the future episodes might or might not turn things around.

I totally agree with you! I enjoyed the show up to episode 13ish then suddenly it seems like they're dragging out things to reach episode 20. I would definitely gave it an 8 if they would have stopped at 16.
