I agree! SJK was great as Vincenzo but I really really loved the actors playing the other characters... at first JYB as cha young in the first few eps annoyed me just a bit, but she 100% grew on me and I love hong cha young now. the entire cast was AMAZING in their roles imo, there wasn't a single weak link!

Same! I love cha young but when she only talked about how she got shot in the shoulder and didn't even mention how han seo was literally DEAD because he wanted them to live I definitely screamed at the screen
I know everyone's saying it, but I just have to agree... I hated the way vincenzo reacted during jang han seo's death ;-;. Although I obviously did not want him to die like AT ALL, I have to admit that the death he was given was possibly one of the best deaths the writers could've done. After spending his whole life under his brother's thumb, jang han seo got to fight back for what he cared about and it honestly showed his character development really well :') BUT but I thought the way they did it was really clumsy? I completely understand the writers wanting to give jang han seo this kind of ending, so it wouldn't make sense for vincenzo to save him. I also completely understand that if he had to choose between saving han seo and saving cha young, vincenzo would definitely save cha young, I think. But it just seemed really weird (and very annoying) to me that while jang han seo repeatedly sacrificed his life, vincenzo kind of just... sat there watching it all. It made me really confused... like even after he helped cha young sit and he wasn't even covering her wound anymore he still didn't help han seo. It was actually kind of awkward the way only han seo was fighting lol. And what hurt me most is that after he died, no one seemed to be grieving for him. After hong cha young woke up, they only talked about how she was shot and not how jang han seo DIED for them. And I'm not trying to complain or anything because obviously the world does not revolve around jang han seo and I really do think it was a testament to how alone he was when he lived. He spent 28 years on earth, and only one person barely cared he was gone. And then (because I'm delusional and I overthink things when I'm bored) it got me thinking that this was either bad writing or done on purpose. idk it's kind of telling that jang han seo even said he wasn't worried about his brother killing him because he had vincenzo to protect him, and vincenzo ended up... well, not protecting him. Even while he was dying, vincenzo was more worried about cha young (again, not accusing him or anything lol just pointing out something I noticed!). So maybe it was on purpose the way no one really cared as much about him? I mean he did also do a lot of horrible things so it would make sense to punish him a little... even if his character development was pretty beautiful ;-; this is really long lol i thought a lot about it because I was so sad :'(((
