yess I do see how it's just a matter of taste in dramas. I think I'm similar in that I just don't appreciate an ML that's hateful for no reason. but the romantic development wasn't even good, so there really was no chance I would forgive the ML lol!

I loved your review too, it was so well-worded! I so agree about the intimate scenes, they felt so groundless with the complete lack of chemistry buildup. and ep 12 was a complete waste of time too, lack of communication on the ML's part once again!

yup the childhood connection was a really lazy way to explain why the leads like each other. not to mention it made the ml wildly inconsistent, because then he has no business treating the fl the way he did in the beginning.

I just read a really interesting analysis about how He Shan and Liu Mo are not telling the whole story either. not sure I agree with all of it but it brings up good points about how suspicious He Shan is, especially the fact that she definitely reported Fei Ke for the exam situation. I feel like otherwise, it would be odd why the investigators showed up at her house when no one seems to know that Fei Ke and He Shan are close. plus the fact that she went out of her way to report the names for the finance club hike and drew attention to the fact that she wasn't listing Fei Ke's name, even though Xu Ou was already set on taking the blame by himself.

definitely think He Shan is not as innocent as she seems, since the drama seems to be filled with morally gray characters except for her, supposedly. someone get me a reliable narrator, I'm dying to know what actually went down 😭

just got chills from the trailer and now I'm obsessed. I feel like (fingers crossed) jing boran will really showcase his acting abilities with this one! reminds me of that classic murder mystery style and this show called imposters

if you don't like it at the second episode mark I think it'll only get worse 😭 it gets less comical and more melodramatic later on if you prefer that! but as someone who regrets watching the whole thing, I personally would recommend you to drop it

I enjoyed the silliness but I felt like it took itself a bit seriously in the middle, which ruined the drama for me

currently on episode 4 — seo kang joon is cute and I like the healing vibes, but I’m just getting very bored. usually I’m okay with slice of life, but maybe this is a little too mellow for me lol. is it worth continuing? if I’m bored now does it get any better?

I would be disappointed but not surprised if that were true 😔 I was hoping this drama would fly under the radar since its source material isn't technically bl but i guess not :((

I agree that a league of nobleman has the highest chance of airing, especially since it's technically not even a BL drama. the novel (although written by a BL novelist) isn't even a BL novel, which makes it a looser potential loophole in this system the way I see it lol
