It's a pretty good drama pretty slow. That ending though, that got me mad. It's a hospice show and she's literally dying the entire time then POOF the "super risky and dangerous def don't do it" surgery is a complete success. PAID FOR BY A GRANNY THAT WENT VIRAL ON INSTAGRAM!?? It's like Black, a good drama if you skip the end.
Do you not know what the foxes are? Plus, he picks roles that he enjoys.
Your original comment expressed disappointment that he is an older guy playing a fox.
My entire argument is that he has enough say/experience to pick and choose what roles he wants to play and that no, it's wasn't a normal fox. The money doesn't matter, he has made absolute bank on several of his other dramas. If he didn't want to be there, he wouldn't be there.

He. Can. Choose. To. Perform. Roles. He. Likes.
Korea uses ratings based upon their own metrics. No one in Korean media cares about MDL, that's laughable. Korean shows tend to use Korean sites because it's made by Korean people, for Korean people.
lol, the older the actors get the more they are inclined to act younger than their age. That's a universal vanity…
It is the most plausible though. How would you explain the body transformations that high school character goes throughout the course of a series, if the series is only supposed to take about a week's time in that universe?

I was hyperbalizing based upon the comments you gave. If he didn't want to play a fantastical fantasy fox he wouldn't have, he has enough experience/skill as an actor to be allowed to pick and choose what stuff he wants to act in as opposed to grabbing whatever comes close to him or pays the most money.

Fun fact, they look for people in their late 20s because that's when puberty officially ends and they don't have to worry about their faces/voices changing.

No. I mean it literally. If he didn't want to play as a mythical fox creature, he wouldn't take the role. I strongly doubt he only takes his roles because of money because judging by all the bts stuff, he absolutely loved it. You can keep assuming he's a shallow and grouchy old man though.
If they want a stand alone drama they should have made a new script and not try to profit out of an already existing…
Then people would complain it copies the webtoon since there's so many present similarities and then you'd get people bemoaning "then just say it's based on the webtoon don't just copy"
I feel like we aren't even supposed to be watching this. I guess that's the point. I'm so horrified. Even giving…
You must not watch k-dramas or know about Korean society if you react like that. Do yourself a favor and stop watching asian dramas in their entirety, you're just going to get hurt.
