Oh also Kim JoJo in Love Alarm. I love he actress but could not understand that a character for life of me. I wanted to slap her a few times right at the beginning (cheating anyone?) and then a few times near the end (breaking up).

*Unpopular opinion alert*
The FL in LOVE o2o is my least favorite character of all time. She is smug and doesn’t really seem to care about anyone around her. She belittles her friends and expects them to have her back at all times. She relies on her beauty but acts like she is the most innocent person in the world. On top of all that she dead fishes all of the kissing scenes and makes what would be a beautiful romance feel forced and weird. Many slap worthy moments for me.

Team Phoenix! The only reason people are saying Fish fairy is a more complex character is because the writers chose to focus on him for like 30 episodes. It was annoying. He got more screen time than anybody and although I think the actor is excellent I don’t think the character deserved so much focus. Phoenix loved Jinmi and was a true friend to her. He even went to the human world to protect her. Run Yu seemed to always have underlying motives and always be calculating. Which makes sense considering his backstory but not someone you would want the FL ending up with.

It's crazy...this drama deserves as high or higher ratings than a certain drama that also just ended *cough cough*

The only thing I can think of is that younger people may not appreciate the complexity of this drama and may be giving it low ratings. Idk

Agreed. He wasn’t one dimensional and just plain evil. He had personality and regrets. He felt like a real person and not just a caricature.

So true! All of the relationships are really natural and feel so real. I’m sad to say goodbye to everyone...

I love how JH’s friend that works with GS acts like he hates the drama but actually lives for it lol

The ratings on MDL are about how much you like a drama not about quality. So if the ending is sad or disappointing it could affect how enjoyable a drama is. Therefore the ratings drop.

I’m trying to figure out why JI was with GS in the first place. She said numerous times that she never saw the relationship as marriage material yet she spent 4 years investing in it. Maybe she liked that he was a bit of a rebel and was pursuing music at first but she lost interest when he decided to follow what his father wanted? They had horrible communication and it was clear she did not respect him at all...maybe because he didn’t follow his dream?

I feel the same. I’m glad some people like it and think it’s the best of the year because the cast and crew worked so hard and deserve recognition. I just personally don’t like it as much as I thought I would in the beginning.

I’m shocked by all of the disrespectful speculative comments. Unless you are best friends with one of them and they personally told you what happened you have no idea. You can’t say it the marriage was based on lust, a contract marriage, they weren’t really in love, they were caught up in the drama magic etc etc

Just leave them alone. I’m sure they are hurting very deeply and they could use all of the prayers and positive comments. If you can’t say something nice....

Wow, this drama never fails to bring out every single emotion. I. Loan away by the writing, directing and acting. I love how the main couple can only truly be themselves with each other and they portray that so well. They understand each other and have such an easy manner but you can also feel the romantic tension. I really hope it ends well...but I don’t have much hope because of the writer.

It’s not disturbing to say that they seem like brother and sister. The kissing and flirting just feels weird and not natural to me. The FL has more chemistry with the SL in my opinion. I just cringe every time the main couple are romantic at all.

Is it normal for people to be so horrible to single parents? I have never been in that position and I haven’t seen this kind of reaction from society towards my single parent friends. Is it a Korean thing? They are treating Ji Ho like he’s a leper and it’s really upsetting.

Ugh it’s just utterly ridiculous at this point. She broke up with you bro...like 5 times. And she’s not nice about it...she’s pretty honest about how she feels and he is still in denial. It’s getting to the point where I think he might be a sociopath.

Jae In needs her own drama. The sismance in this drama gives me all the feels.
