For those that are skeptical about starting this: HERE'S YOUR SIGN TO JUST DO IT. I started this with no expectations and whew chileeee does this drama live up to the hype. Every family's story is so meaningful and the characters are written with so much depth, with many of the scenes being extremely powerful and heart-wrenching (episode 14 with the cha family absolutely BROKE ME). I truly think this drama speaks volume on the collectivism that runs deep in many Asian cultures that affects parent-child relationships, but also highlights the beauty -- and tragedy -- in those relationships. worth the watch!!
Jung Eum is a little extra, but honestly it adds to the comedic flair of this sweet and fluffy rom-com! I personally think it’s worth watching if you’re looking for something light and funny — don’t let the rating turn you off especially since there’s literally only 2 episodes out (or 4 if we’re counting the halves). I’d give it a chance and then we’ll just have to see where the writers take us :)
This drama deserves way more than 8.4 hands down. The cast is amazing, especially Jang Na Ra, and the storyline is profound and absolutely beautiful. I will admit I had my reserves for Jae Woo at first because he was sort of an ass at the beginning, but I promise you they'll have you rooting for him as the drama progresses. GIVE IT A CHANCE GUYS YOU WON'T REGRET IT
I'm three episodes in and, despite the copious amount of critical comparisons between the original CM and this remake, I'm actually really liking it so far. It's thrilling and interesting, and although I do think they could do a bit more to explain the science behind everything, I honestly think it deserves an 8.0+ rating. Maybe I have an advantage because I never followed the original CM, but either way, if you're trying to decide if you want to give this a chance, I say definitely go in with a fresh pair of eyes!
And TBHHH, the OST is BUMPIN' and Lee Joon Gi looks so damn good.
The character of Go Cheok Hee has a lot of potential, but so far it's being carried out in a way that makes me feel more annoyed haha I want to give this drama a chance because of the main guy, but I'll wait to see what you guys have to say about 3 & 4..
there's something about the main female lead that seems very... lackluster and one dimensional to me. not really feeling it, but I'll give it a couple more episodes.
