9/10
I’m giving this a 9/10 until the last episode is out.
If you think this K-drama is boring or plain step aside. I just want to let everyone know that this K-drama is the most relaxing and soothing drama I’ve yet to watch. Honestly I don’t even know where to begin… The vibes here are immaculate, I was sick btw watching and I binged through this K-drama in one full day. BTW I’m a very, veryyy picky watcher— I don’t watch things that are boring or will make me fall asleep, and I’ve been an avid K-drama watcher. Out of all the K-dramas I’ve watched this was the most surprising, not because of some busy plot line or crazy twists/story but because how SIMPLE everything once. It was just rooted in reality and the characters felt so real, sometimes when I watch a drama I don’t really care or bring myself to really connect with the characters, like it’s insane how ordinary and basic this plot is but it works.
Like why wouldn’t I like the secretary who’s just trying his best to be a good dad or the CEO trying to girlboss her way in life. I mean and the tension between them, you might think this is boring but I just like witnessing the stories that go along with job hunting. Like idk man I just find everyone in this show to be loveable and interesting, like from the director to the daughter and the other FL within the story. I just like where it’s going and sometimes you just want to slow down and take the easy route, I just enjoy the coziness of the show. The different locations how the music plays in the background that matches each scene.
Like you really get to go all over the place in Seoul, I know there’s other dramas that show different locations but GUYS this one, I just I want to walk around and explore. Like the cherry blossoms and that park they went to. The office, the CEO’s desk and the window outside. The ML’s apartment…
I think it’s easy to grow attached to the love story and when it’s not focusing on it you get interested in the lives of the ppl who are recruited for these jobs. I feel like I’m there too and honestly I’m not bored. Like I’m usually bored while watching most K-dramas especially when we’re focusing on side characters but I’m glad this one didn’t bore me… I hope it continues to stay this way…
I just get attached to the world it made and I love seeing these two naturally fall in love. Just as two ordinary adults. It’s refreshing and in the day and age of like CRAZYYY things needing to be happening every second I like this.
