If i flirt with teacher in india , only indians know what gonna happen đ , these drama is so unrealistic for…
The age gap is not that big and more importantly they are more like mentor or coaches than actual teachers, so the relationship is from the start more personal, because you have to motivate and root for your mentee. Plus now she has a full class, but back then he was her only student, so it makes sense that their relationship is a bit more blurry than that of classic teacher/student.
What I do wonder is why she was so reluctant to have him around. Makes me think something already happened between them, otherwise itâs just bizarre.
The acting, camera work and all is very good. But the first two episodes were way too uneventful in my opinion. Specially when they are so lengthy. At this pace 45 min would have been more than enough I think. Hope it picks up or it will be a drop for me. I quite enjoyed One Spring Night which is a bit similar, so hopefully this gets better.
I really hope students in Korea are not seriously crying like the world came to an end because they had one wrong answer in a test âŠ
I dropped it at ep6 and just followed the general plot thanks to Twitter. But out of curiosity were Tae Ohâs mother and his psycho father ever mentioned again ? Because they were supposed to be the reason for his entire plan. And why exactly did he help In Ha to start with, was it ever explained lol ?
I can't tolerate to see fl, 2ml together. FL trusts him to the point she can get drunk infront of him assuring…
I dont think she got drunk. She was perfectly sober, then she left the room, we see him turning down her phone and looking suspiciously at the drinks. She comes back, he stars stressing her on purpose with all the questions about her marriage, she gets irritated and then drinks (she rarely drinks as she said later) and then we see her asleep in a car. Itâs pretty clear that he drugged her cup with some light amount of sleeping pills, to create the entire situation where she comes back home in his car looking drunk. Heâs a plotter and a psycho donât forget.
TO wants to protect his mom. he faked her death and put his father in jail. There has never been mention if he…
I get your point but for this to make sense they should have shown more of TO childhood and a lot more of relationship with his mother. Weâve seen TaeHo mum for 30 seconds, and his stepfather for about 1 min on screen, thatâs honestly not enough to make them have such a huge impact on this story. Plus working for Kangoh has given him zero power, so far his greatest asset has been the hacker, not being part of Kangoh. He is being slapped for InHa mistake and canât even have the police investigate his assault. What can he do for his mother ? Just him and the hacker working together to protect his mum when his father gets out of jail would have actually been a better plot.
By the way the âI want to get power to protect or avenge my familyâ plot has been perfectly executed in The Good bad mother.
My review of this show can only start with a long and painful âAigooooâ. So many things are off, and it literally pains me because, both male leads are very talented actors, and LJW was going so well with AOS and his appearance is deathâs game, that I donât even understand how he selected this messy plot.
-The time jumps, and the scenes editing are so off putting -We are halfway in and still nothings makes sense. It all started because Tae Ho wanted to protect his mom from his father. But we never even heard of them again, and the relation between that initial goal and what he is actually doing is lost on us all. Plus why does he want InHa to be heir of Kangoh so bad⊠no one knows. -Nothing in the way Tae Ho and Hyewon story was told, could even make us start to care about their romance. But they keep forcing it with those tasteless flashbacks all over ep 5 and 6. Like no one is invested or interested them, drop it. -InHa clearly only wants Hyewon because TaeHo loves her. But itâs just annoying to see them compete for a character there is nothing to love aboutâŠOne of them loving her would have already been too much, but both, no, doesnât even seem realistic. -the wardrobe choices for the chairman and Inju are hurting my eyes. Inju is so dumb he doesnât even make an interesting opponent. Plus the actor is way too old or the chairman is way too young, the math ainât mathing here. -Huijoo is actually the only likeable character in the show, but tragically nobody gives a damn about her. ( except the audience of course). The authors probably thought she would be spoiled brat nobody likes and Hyewon the struggling girl everyone relates too⊠wellâŠno. -Why is TaeHo kissing someone elseâs bride? ( notice I didnât say friend or partner) -the North Korean hacker was introduced so brutally into this show lol -The guy who gets beaten up by Inju with a baseball bat, where did he lose his dignity? -Madame Jang was one of the interesting characters but she just vanishedâŠshame. -Why would the chairman accept Hyewon in his family so easily, when her mother is such a liability and all he cares about is his image ?? -the entire Ko Huichan character has no use at all. -the Royal Road project was supposed to be so important ( itâs even one of the names of the series) but it became nothing more than an anecdote. -the female lead acting as been commented on enough, but itâs not all on her, the character itself is very badly written. And the fact that itâs not well portrayed only adds insult to injury. I will stop here, but basically this show is a huge disappointment.
please leave the woman alone, she dated someone who laundered money... well some people married and had children with literally serial killers and had no clue at all. So stop speculating she was involved.
so it is ok for herto have an affair but not for her husband? Hell no. Why every kdrama is fixated on demonizing…
she publicly announced her divorce, that could have been finalized already if it wasn't for the husband's tricks, so what affair are you talking about. Jong Jae is more of confident and a close friend at the end of the series than a lover, even though it might evolve, but by then her divorce will be finalized, so nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Plus Ah Jin was also depicted as an horrible person, so its not just the male.
Seum didn't tamper the breaks, pretty sure Luna did, she did it after discovering that Ahjin was pregnant while going to her place, she just never expected it will become a huge problem for Se Eum
I have absolutely zero biais when it comes to this actor, actually didn't know him before this, so I'm completely neutral, and also I didn't read the webtoon so I have no particular expectations. On that note, after watching the first two epidodes, I'm sorry to say but he's acting performance is really weak compared to others. It's hard to explain, but its like he is just there reciting lines. Intonation, body language, facial expressions are all lacking, it's quite bizarre. And it actually feels like the director was aware of his limitations, giving him few line, and many back shots. its like they simplified his character as much as possible, so he could fit the part, but then we end up with a main lead lacking depth and personnality. Especially on a light romantic comedy show like this, the likeability of the main leads and their chemistry is everything. Hope is acting improves a bit as the show unfolds.
I do understand Gilchae and the story arc, but personally I think it is possible to have a romance centered story…
Yes but the problem is that in opposition to an also historical with romance drama like Mr Sunshine, the side caracters in this drama are extremely one dimensional . Eun Ae for example, apart from being nice and understanding she really doesn't do much, some goes for Yeon Joon, there was very little growth of the caracter so far. In Mr Sunshine there were SO MANY meaningful story lines, so the lead couple and their love story wasn't the only thing carrying the show like here. I am actually quite enjoying My Dearest, but the show still has some weaknesses in my opinion. There is a political background but honestly we don't see the Prince and King enough to truly care for them. Ryang Eum is the only caracter that is complex and intriguing apart from the leads. Plus the fact that there is no real villain in this story, ok we have the invaders who are the bad guys, but they didn't have such a great impact on the show either, they are just a background.
I'm sorry you guys but the push-and-pull storyline wastes time. There is a reason I really adored the red sleeve…
I do understand Gilchae and the story arc, but personally I think it is possible to have a romance centered story where the leads are together all while facing challenges and evolving etc. It's actually one of the things I loved the most about dramas such as Alchemy of souls, Crash landing on you, Mr sunshine... Separating the leads continuously is not the only option to keep the story going, there are many other ways.
It was not only the "fish" style kiss but also a horrible montage and cutting of scenes. In one second you see…
I have hope that this was only the first part of the kissing scene and we will have a more passionate kiss at the beginning of episode 8, because yes it was really underwhelming
The creepy teacher, lives right next Seok Joo's old house, and he keeps innapropriately touching Joo Min. I think he is the real abuser and killer of Seok Joo's daughter. That journalist Cha Do Hee, is also giving major psycopath vibes... There is some serious logic issues in the series regarding the bombing and the way the figured out the location the test video was filmed at.
What I do wonder is why she was so reluctant to have him around. Makes me think something already happened between them, otherwise itâs just bizarre.
