hi, I kinda felt the same with the whole project and especially the dialogues seem too unreal and unlike the characters themselves. but I wanted to tell you that many of historical kdrama' directors _unknowingly_ prefer to show what has happened in form of flashbacks. sometimes it's really annoying but after these years I kinda get along with it😅

hi, I read your comment and it was so complete except you didn't include the grandma. personally, I wanted the writer to develop her relation with Ji-pyeong as I noticed he cared a lot about her.
overall I wasn't sure about watching this drama the year it was airing because I find this genre of Korean drama draining. they usually start from one point but lose their way and get lost and in last few episodes the writer and director try so hard to fix everything that it makes no sense; but I was interested in cast so...
