starting this drama when I did the timing couldn’t be more perfect. the theme of growing pains really hits home, watching the leads struggle and fail I can’t help but cry with them cause it’s just so relatable. hee-do breaking down in the restaurant and crying harder when being comforted by those old people was so real sorry for the dramatics but I’m choking up just thinking about that scene. this drama is so good oh my god
so far I adore all the characters except Gang Jae, he’s extremely frustrating and somewhat boring. I hope he changes and gets good character development cause rn almost every scene with him feels exhausting to sit through
jukyung is really dragging the story down bro. I get that she's insecure but at some point her naivete and denseness becomes really irritating. I like suho on his own but not when he's infatuated w jukyung, she's so insufferable holy shit and there's no chemistry to top it off. seojun is too cool to be in a love triangle as lame as this
They’re so perfect together I was watching Something in the Rain and whole time it felt like I was watching her cheat on Hyun Bin even though I didn’t know they were together at the time lmao
the cinematography was breathtaking but onto more important matters: the female lead was gross, creepy, insufferable, annoying, I could go on. How THREE different guys wanted to marry her when she possesses zero redeeming qualities is beyond me, but that's dramas for you
I told myself I was gonna enjoy this and I really was at the start but there’s nothing I hate more than an out of the blue relationship. I think that’s why the chemistry is nonexistent, cause the relationship development is nonexistent. No buildup, no actually showing us that the characters had feelings for each other prior to the relationship, they just came out of nowhere on some “I like you” and I’m supposed to accept it. This writer straight up calling me a dumbass.
perhaps the worst scenes are the ones where tae-eul breaks down in tears because of lee gon. i'm so lost cause i dont recall it ever being that deep. ever. i'm incapable of feeling ANYTHING for these leads
i always find something to complain about lol like this wasnt bad but the episodes were way too long like we have other dramas to watch plz get on with it
In my opinion the problem is the script/dialogues, im a sucker for romance and I expected much more for this one…
i actually agree. i didnt mention it but i think the writing is also hugely to blame for the poorly developed relationship between the leads. there’s only so much that the actors can do with a bad script
kim go eun and lee min ho are two skilled actors who are trying very hard to convince us that they’re in love, but chemistry doesn’t lie. the romance feels so forced and its making me gag
anyways, woo do hwan best actor
