that production made sure to capture on film and air the stink eye YG gave gold dragon when he gave his prayer beads to red rabbit at the choosing ceremony was chef’s kiss. especially after the day before YG said she wanted them. goes to show how manipulative YG is that she thought 3/4 of the guys were going to choose her. i hope BY dropped her sorry ass after seeing the show aired.
was Na Baek-Jin an orphan and donated black money to the village he lived his whole life ?
if you scroll up to recent discussions someone has written about Baek Jin’s background from the webtoon. its very helpful and should have been added to the plot of whc2
did something happen to Si Eun’s dad in the first series that he’s not in the second? i didn’t understand why his mom was now the parental figure when she was awol (other than watching her tutor math lessons) in whc1.
whc2 was definitely different from whc1 but i think it showcases the trauma caused to YSE seeing his friend so badly hurt and his journey through his guilt.
i’m only halfway through the third episode but its great to see actor Meen playing a different role from his previous series. the dad has way to much makeup caked on. the uncle is a totally unnecessary character and is annoying as hell and im shocked at how young actor Ryu is. He’s great in this role.
all yu gyeong care about is connecting with the gold dragon. when she realized HA wasn’t him, she dropped him. then she did the exact same thing with BY. she was so engaging and enthusiastic with both men on their first dates. she charmed them into confessing to her then throws them away when she figures out they’re not the fated mate she picked on day one. i can’t stand her.
i hope in the end YG gets picked by neither HA or BY and pray that the gold dragon doesn’t get swayed by her as well since the preview for next weeks episode is hinting that way. 🙄
while i loved the drama i felt the actress who played Eunnam was flat and wasn’t really needed in the story. it’s my first time watching a PHS drama other than the heirs and i found him to be great. as well as all the leading male actors. what i didn’t understand was why Bae Wonbae kept changing his appearance.
i’ve now begun to fast forward through the scenes when the FL is by herself or with anyone other than the ML. that’s how horrible of an actress she is. she acts like a teenage brat, can’t hold her liquor, and her outfits are sub par.
up to date on all current episodes and FL is still annoying as hell. this actress has got to be the worst costar for ryan ren to date. no spark between the two whatsoever and she’s six years his senior.
he had such great banner with his on screen partner in go back lover and the chemistry between the leads of love on the edge of divorce was off the charts.
thank god there’s only a dozen episodes left. i hope his next pairing is better.
to be fair, only one liked number 24. joo hee who he ended up with. jin ju just wanted the status his job brought. none of the other brides found him attractive. this is the dude who can’t lift more than two water bottles and is now known around the globe as thin lips man.
I felt sooooooooo happy. Also in lasts episode lying loudly so 18 could hear her and get the wrong idea. Such…
omg do you mean green bow in her hair girl cause i only found out her number (4) in the last episode and the bloke who proposed to her she rejected. like wtf? just so you could have some air time? seeing those two “ bff’s” commiserate together after being the only brides out of a dozen that weren’t matched was hilarious.
the chap currently living in Tokyo not proposing to Jin Ju was chefs kiss. girl got what she deserved. and to think she told all her mates she’d be marrying a dermatologist and getting them discounts only to go back home with nothing is the karma she deserves.
it was so satisfying seeing Seok kill the detective with the horrible side burns. his facial hair really irked me and was reason enough to deserve to die.
i would have loved the series even more had it ended with the last scene before the credits and no extra scenes afterwards. making the viewer decide on the fate of the leads without the possibility of a second season is the best cliffhanger.

i’m only continuing this series because ryan ren is so good.
i hope the two catfishes end up together as well as the bickering shamans.
the rest i don’t care for at all.
