There is an official audio video with the actors' voices that does offer a happy ending, somewhere on twitter and utube, just to let you know. I don't regret watching TTEOTM even tho I usually don't watch dramas with sad endings. Drama is a definite 10 imo.

LYX so gorgeous in Princess Silver as always! He has a main role role in the drama but not as many scenes as the role of Zongzheng Wu You, which really pissed me off at first but the role of ZWY, who gets the girl was so soooo freakin' stupid, dumb as F*** that I was happy LYX took the role he did. Cried buckets for him in his role.

It's a sad ending. First half, Hao is living his second life when he finds a red envelope... "again" (poor guy doesn't know about his past first life). In his first life, when he finds the red envelope, he is kidnapped and physically forced into a creepy, cursed groom marriage ceremony by the crazed father of a young woman, now a corpse, who was on the verge of getting married (2 weeks prior, not to main lead Hao) however, she commits suicide due to some deteriorating skin illness which only affected her face. Her father refuses to bury his dead unwed daughter so her soul can rest cuz he believes women can't die unmarried (bad luck) and also by suicide losing her chances to be named in the ancestral tomb and ruining the family lineage. When the marriage ceremony is completed, Hao is meant to be ritually sacrificed by being buried with his cursed, corpse bride so his soul can become purified, as well as hers, but he manages to escape running away only to get hit by a car and dies, unfulfilling the burial step. Now in Hao's second life the corpse bride haunts her groom after he finds the red envelope again. Don't want to completely spoil what happens cuz it's a twist plot horror drama.
