just finished watching Novaland Pearl eclipseHe is a brilliant actor!!!!Amazing acting in his rage, his depression,…
... I am back to apologize... I was having a conversation with some friends (for an irrelevant matter) and that made me realized I made a big mistake in criticizing the value system of a whole culture (about cheating, the importance of idols and in a lesser degree about drug use) I have no right to talk from a "moral High-stand" I DON'T have a moral high stand, just different cultural references. Again I apologize if I have offended anyone...
just finished watching Novaland Pearl eclipse He is a brilliant actor!!!! Amazing acting in his rage, his depression, his cruelty, his love, his loss, his disappointment, his mischief, his arrogance, his sincerety... Amazing!! No other words... (I also have to confess that i find his smile irresistible... even thought I know he is acting, somehow it looks sincere and targeted to the viewer...) BTW, I saw on comments something about cheating his GF and this being an immense scandal... Maybe because I am from Greece, and having a different mentality.. but SO WHAT???? I don;'t understand...who gives any importance to who is sleeping with who, and why... He is an ACTOR ( a good one but still an actor) He is NOT supposed to be a role model with his personal life, but only through his work If he has a great personality and has a good , giving, moral and clean life, well.... congratulations. If not... where should that affect my life? He is not my friend - husband - partner - relative, so why this mistake (or any other) has to do with me Even in the matter of drugs (which if I understand correctly is a MAJOR faux-pas in asian countries and with good reason...) as long as a person doesn't promote it or glorify it, is more a matter of pitying a sick person, more than condemning him in hell for his life choise Also... it is interesting that in this fast-pacing life we all live, I was able to find a whole heated discussion about a private mater that occurred so long ago...
I just joined this site to praise Yan Zi Xian's talent in "love and bid farewell"... I didn't like the character he played, but this (insanely) good actor portrayed the role in such a way that made it believable. I wish that you read (occasionally) these posts Congratulations!
