listening to his master, supporting his “rivals” despite that meaning he has to put himself at risk, going for blind meetings for a potential spouse just bc his grandfather wants him to for political reasons etc.
someone explain the toxic relationship between qianqian & qimin - it’s so unhealthy but there’s somehow still chenistry 😭😭
have I got the gist of this right bc I’m feeling lost rn; so qimin is in love w qianqian bc she saved him from drowning. is that it? and he’s been obsessed w her for 7 yrs but never managed to find her all this time?
also there was that moment he got her captured after she saved him & he threw that jade pendant at her - so did he r*pe her after that? bc how else would she have got pregnant w Bao’er?
I’m confused on why yanzheng isn’t killing yuanqing?? general shi yue’s army are assuming he’s alive so why not just let them believe that but kill him anyway?
wow!! I was feeling 50/50 about this based off the synopsis but damn, ep 1 was impressive. not a single boring moment. seeing king KNG was a bonus too.
are they really suggesting ML has been hung up on FL for a DECADE & hasn’t dated anyone since? And still shared his music streaming account w her for 10 yrs? And she had the audacity to use it?
I don’t get why she was crying when he walked away either, like girl you’re the one that broke up w him + it’s been years!
just finished ep 3 & I think the break up felt realistic. or maybe I’m being biased bc I feel like I’m in a similar situation 😂
but I think your late teens - mid 20s feels like a period where you need to hustle to achieve your goals. you don’t want to get behind your peers & you don’t want the time to just flow past. it’s so busy! you want to get things done before bigger responsibilities like marriage & kids happen.
I think FL felt like the break up was necessary for them both to focus on their own paths without distractions
i can't believe its both brothers that are villains! usually its one of the two but both are madmen and dellirious!…
the actors are doing a great job!!
honestly I CAN believe they’re both like that. must be both nature & nuture. their dad - lord changxin’s probs more vile than them so it’s in the blood & they’ve been raised to be ruthless and conquer all

he deserves more appreciation

it would be lovely if we all treated everyone kindly, the smallest interaction can make the biggest difference
