The music score of this series is so good and by far my fave aspect of the show. A mixture of eerie, creepy, lonely,…
If this show was Twilight then Moon Gang Tae would be Bella and Go Moon Young would be Edward lol..

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
IF she does not have APD I will be pissed. The title is literally "Psycho But It's All Right" which is a play…
I get what you’re saying. So the only feasible way for the show to have a realistic ending, either 1) they have to change her diagnosis or 2) she doesn’t get ‘cured’ (idek what that means in her case). But the 2nd option seems a lot like cheating.
As you said we can only wait and watch lol.

Maybe I was projecting too much of my own ideas on the character, and maybe that’s why I see her as more empathetic than she actually is. As you said there’s no way for someone with ASPD to be ‘cured’ but signs of the disease does seem to reduce with increasing age for some. An important thing to consider is even though she has no guilt or remorse for her actions, she IS aware her actions are not normal and needs some sort of restraint (hence asking the ml to be her safety pin). In such cases the patient first has to know that they need help for them to be able to accept it. What I want is for that help to come in the form of legitimate therapy and not due to her relationship with the ml. It helps that she hasn’t done anything yet to end up in jail.

I too agree with you on the fact that if not treated with at least a certain degree of realism the show would lose its charm towards the end. But watching the show thus far I’m hoping they won’t go that route.
Also I understand that the possibility for a ‘normal’ life is very low for someone with ASPD ( I think she DOES have it), but severity is something to be considered imo. She doesn’t seem to completely disregard the value of a human life, she is not totally ignorant or apathetic to the sufferings of her fellow humans. So I think she’s not an entirely lost cause to begin with (even though she is cunning and manipulative af). To add to it she has definitely been traumatised by her childhood abuse and is at least a tad bit delusional.
It’d better the audiences understanding to know whether she was actually treated for ASPD as a kid and by treated I mean had any behavioural therapies. Even though I wouldn’t call her well adjusted, her writing does show an abundance of emotional intelligence.
She really is a complex character and that’s why I love her so much lol. Let’s see where the story takes us in the future.
