China and mental health... they still don't proper represent it. that is how i know my favorite novel will never became a drama, because it centers around the fact the ML has schizophrenia, it is such a good story, it is sad.
I have to say, I have watched a few dramas based on novels and so far this one is the best (even with the "fillers").
I think it is because the story is really good. I read a lot of light novels and this one is one of the best I`ve read too... and China is getting really good with adaptation, they found their food, and Korea seams to have lost theirs, in adaptations 🤨

Don't get me wrong I'm liking this drama a lot and I understand the direction the plot is going, but i think it would be so much refreshingif the story line was Shi Hyun and Soo Ji getting married and fighting for position of power over their families. with no one being entirely good or entirely bad, just trying to achieve their objective by any means. it feels like a scale down of their plans, they should be conquering the world but instead they are taking revenge on a jerk ex boyfriend. it just feel short to me.
Can I just say how happy I am that the king's avatar is going to be a drama... I see the hype about a main actor, I too watched Love O2O. But can I say that the nerd inside me are so satisfied right now, I a big fan of the novel of the king's avatar, I read the manhua, I watched the anime but the novel is such a big thing to me. I just love Ye Xiu so much, I love his mind, the way he does things is so amazing, I hope Yang Yang can do him justice. and I is going to be 80 episodes, I thing I can say they are going to do the whole story and not divide, very good.
so tell me, I really want to know... because my main interest in the drama are not who the father is, but how Chen Che and Zhen Zhen are ending together...
