I'm seriously loving this show! Just finished episode 24 and I think I'm the only one commenting on Viki right now, lol. I guess you all must be watching it on iQiyi instead...

Her character changes over the show. She starts out really timid, but becomes really brave and straightforward, standing up for what she believes in.

I agree that it's 10/10 - there's a cool parallel world/time travel element that keeps you guessing, and the story and actors are really great.

I hope one day Mango will get a better subtitle team!

Anyone know what city this was filmed in? i've tried to look it up, but I can't find it anywhere.

I'm up to episode 18, and she is not at all sweet, so you will probably not like her.

up to Episode 18 - quite annoyed that they have written the FL to be so flawed, while Steven Zhang's character is, like, perfect.

Started watching for Steven Zhang... seen the first couple episodes and I like his character so far! He's a bit like Yuan Zhongxin from Young Blood (except more ethical), who might be my fave Steven Zhang character, so I'm excited!

I'm up to episode 12, and although I'm enjoying it, I have to say that the FL is the weakest link so far. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, because sometimes I feel audiences are too harsh on actresses and female characters in general, but this FL's acting is really cartoonish and strange, ESPECIALLY with her eyes. She keeps opening her eyes really wide so you can see the whites of her eyes over the tops of her irises (in Japanese they call this "sanpaku" eyes) and it makes her seem deranged.

I like the script, though! And most of the other actors are fine. And I enjoy the subject matter. The FL is my only major complaint.

I don't have a Youku membership, but I do have Viki, and it looks like episodes are showing up there a day later (probably for English subs?), so Viki people, we can watch episode 2 tomorrow.

BTW, Steven is hot as HELL in this so far.

It's true, he indeed perfect! Xiao Zhan and The Untamed were my entryway into becoming a serious Cdrama watcher. He's so incredibly beautiful and talented, I can't wait to see his new projects!

I'm up to episode 15, and I've decided my favourite relationship is between He Ziqiu and Li Haichao. It's so pure and sweet! Haichao is the best dad ever, and Ziqiu just wants to be good for his dad!

I'm up to Episode 15, and I totally felt that way when I started watching it too, but it does get better, in that it portrays some dads as poor parents too, and doesn't focus so much on "evil women". It's more like Li Haichao is a good parent, and everyone else isn't as good.

There is no love triangle. Yes, at some point their relationship does get exposed to the public and she suffers from it, but it does get resolved.

One of the things this show has made me realize is that having a good script is the most important thing to me. The production values of this show are not very good at times (the foley work is particularly bad), but the story and dialogue are so good that I'm willing to overlook the other stuff. Contrast that with Who Rules the World, which I watched recently, which looks beautiful and has very good production values and great actors, but the story is terrible, so I ultimately didn't enjoy it. Cdramas should be focusing on script-writing way more than they do!

It's literally a wuxia drama though - they say "jianghu" like 70 times each episode. Not sure what you were expecting??

So maybe they'll be up soon? For now I'm just using auto-translate from Chinese subs to English, but even the Chinese subs are currently incomplete.
