I also mainly watch romance and romcoms and without spoiling anything I will say that those are included at some point. But overall this drama is a breath of fresh air. It follows the story of the queen and her struggles in the palace which you usually don’t see very often. It’s also very funny and I feel relatable for the time frame that it’s set in.

Well I've fallen in those holes as well in the past and it usually takes me a couple months to get out but these days I've enjoyed dramas that slightly longer and keep me entertained for a longer period of time. Longer dramas just make me love the characters over time and some include a lot of comedy. I also started watching more reality shows. Some dramas I've watched recently are:

-100 Days My Prince (Eps:16)
-Angel's Last Mission: Love (Eps:32)
-Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life (Eps:100 the episodes aren't that long (30 mins or less) and its worth the watch but it is currently airing so I don't know if you might want to wait till it fully airs)
-Father is Strange (Eps:52)
And now I'm gonna start Queen: Love and War

As for reality TV Shows I've been watching ***Return of Superman*** and I LOVE IT!! That show just entertains me so much because of the kids. I love it so much that its like if the kids are my kids!!! T_T I LOVE THEM!

I don't know if you've watched any of these or all of them but if not I seriously recommend them. Especially the reality TV show and the longer dramas. Hopefully they get you out of your hole.

I'm sad. I knew that most of bigbang members and kim soo hyun were goung to the military but ji chang wook,seo in guk, and the others are going also!! T___T and didn't lee min ho already serve his time in the military? I could've sworn he had just come back after doing legend of the blue sea and they did this whole list of his dramas thing on viki

Don't base every J-drama on this one. There's some pretty good ones out there where the girl doesn't follow the guy around like a puppy. It would be awesome if you gave J-dramas another chance
