The second couple, Chen Yi and Ai Di, is just as charismatic; their intense, messy energy makes it feel like two top-tier shows in one. The bond between Ji-hyeon and Jae-won is quiet but incredibly charged. I love how the small touches and gazes are given space, like when they’re just sitting on the beach. Im Ji-sub plays Jae-won with a tiredness in his eyes that feels so real; his struggle with depression and that paralyzing darkness is honestly portrayed. The only things that ruin the vibe are the annoying ex-girlfriend and those cartoonish bullies.
