Yes I know he did it for her. But my point was that he had only one and not two ways to become human. When he was forced to reveal his true nature to rescue her he lost already his only chance to become human. He had only chance to remain mythical being instead of demon if she loved him after learning who he was :) btw, I really really enjoyed his storyline. He was fantastic character. His son also of course :)

I just finished watching Gu Family Book and was there really second possibility to become human? I don't remember that. Wasn't it that only those 100 days could change mythical being into human? In which episode it was mentioned? I remember that Wol Reung could avoid being demon if Seo Hwa loved him after discovering his real nature but I thought it was only this. He could still be mythical being afterwards and not damon but also not human.

I find it really surprising as this drama is not very cliche. I love its humour and brilliant actors. This is certainly one of the best dramas I have ever seem. It is a story of normal people who just pursue their dream so it is definitely must watch.
