I am not insisting on 18 because I still think him being 18 is not morally right, just because to me he still has a very young mentality. My cousin is going to be 18 and although she is quite mature for her age, she is till not mature like someone who is 27.
I din't quite understand the last part of your response. If you are only 1 year younger than someone, than that is ok, even if you are 18 with someone 17, because one just turned 18 and the other is about to turn 18.
As for calling people mentally ill if they are with a minor, I would be correct cause the term exists and it's called pedophilia.
