The biggest evidence for me was when Mama Jin was strangling Mudeok and she had the flash of childhood memories…
I mean it’s really confusing for me. Because I remember that even Master Lee said that “She will protect him” in that soulshift ritual. So he indeed knew that would happen, but seeing him now specially in ep20 say that The The body originally belonged to someone powerful … got me confused, specially the implying the fact that the body is the important part. And the strangling scene… couldn’t it be just Buyeon’s body reacting to her mother ? And Mudeok getting all of Buyeon’s memories of her ? Also the fact that Mama Jin remembered that she called her like that - but she also didn’t take it as an option that her soul could be there - after Naksu was revealed she just wanted to know who that body belonged to originally … Idk they are messing with my head seriously :D
You guys, I have to ask this because I have been thinking about this for a long time now. Why is everybody so sure of the fact that Jin Buyeon soul even was along with Naksu soul in her body ?
Specially after seeing ep 20 and what Master Lee said mentioning that the reason why Naksu didn't run wild yet was because she is in the powerful body, not that powerful soul is controling her. He said that unless she will not try to bring out her power, she will be fine in that body. Which could possibly mean that the body itself is powerful . Wasn't there a theory that Buyeon is basically reincarnation of Jin Seol Ran? It would explain a lot of things: 1. When she saved Jang Uk from soulshifting and smiled at him 2. Her body not allowing Naksu to use her power to not run wild 3. The scene with ice stone when we saw Buyeon (but in the younger version) and then really likely JIn Seol Ran - the sudden change in personality was pretty obvious 4. It would also answer question why Jinmu was able to control her and she ran wild - killed people (including Buyeon's father) and nobody stoped her. Do not tell me that powerful priestess as Buyeon (at least they are picturing her like that) would be not able to stop that.
And if I remember correctly even Master Lee said there is indeed powerful soul inside - not two souls - and he new about Naksu from the start. I know that this is gonna be unpopular opinion, but I really don't think she was there in that body along with her.
