I get what you mean but for ace troops Xiao Zhan was asked about how he feels acting a second lead role and he said he doesn't mind it, he considers it as an experience. It's truly hard to shine as a second lead but he does a good job at that. I love how he focuses and gives his all on any role he's given! it's truly admirable. Plus JOL has a huge budget! they can afford all the actors in my opinion.

I would really like for Xiao Zhan's character to be an important one in this season. If its how I think it would go, Zhang and Xiao Zhan would join hands to take revenge, since they were both played. Ahhh I really wanna read the novel but I wanna watch it without knowing what's gonna happen

wah seriously? I always don't trust victims 100% cause so many of them are liars who just wanna benefit from celebrities, of course that's not always the case. But I don't think Kris Wu is completely innocent tho I'm not sure something about him is off.

Have you seen The Untamed? It's what got me into chinese dramas. Also Ashes of Love, Ancient Love Poetry, Arsenal Military Academy, The Long Ballad (this was recent I absolutely loved it), Douluo Continent, More Than Blue The series (Taiwanese drama on Netflix) and if you're into BL I have many recs 😂

Ohhhh i can see thay. Man when i started watching it I was so scared theyd stop airing it cause of that. This drama is very daring.

I think thats their intention to be honest, they wanna keep it a secret till the end to keep ppl on edge. We also dont know if the main actress is still the same or not. But if they had changed her, they would have told us. So im almost certain that she and Xiao Zhan are gonna be in the drama. Xiao zhan by himself will attract so many ppl. If i were them i wouldnt let him go. Also i heard from many places that theyre shooting both 2nd and 3rd seasons together.
Also xiao zhan doesnt have any new dramas to shoot other than the dream one, i think the shooting will start after JOL since both Xiao zhan and the main actress are in both dramas, assuming theyre in JOL.

I don't get why they struggled for funding. It's everyone's most anticipated and loved bl. I'd put more money making this than producing more bl dramas. Though, it is still perfect in my eyes.

Yup exactly what I was thinking! Also he stopped wearing his glasses on ep 12 after telling everyone the truth, and his style did change a bit, its less formal now. I don't know maybe he'll go back and forth. I truly appreciate the character development!
