Finally Found My Long-Lost Fave
Another blast from my tween years. Romantic Princess still hits that sweet spot of nostalgia and daydreams. I swear, it’s one of Wu Chun’s best shows (and Calvin Chen’s dimples? I simply cannot). Watching it again feels like being a tweenager all over, swooning over fictional princes and fairytale setups.
Story-wise, it’s got that dreamy, delulu energy, very Meteor Garden or Boys Over Flowers-coded, with four boys and one main girl (though not everyone’s romantically involved). It’s cohesive, fun, and not too long, just the right balance of drama, fluff, and emotional pull. Everyone’s stubborn, sure, but their motivations make sense, and you can’t help but root for them.
I’ve rewatched this one too many times to go through it again soon, but it’s definitely a drama I’ll always treasure. Romantic Princess is one of those shows that stays in your heart, glitter and all.
📌 Watch this if you love nostalgic, fairytale-style dramas that make you feel like a lovestruck tween all over again.
