Light romantic comedy with a pinch of BDSM101

The curiosity led me to watch this movie and SeoHyun is here too sooooo I was excited. It's kind of a unique genre from what I usually watch so the story is kind of so-so for me. Here are the main things that you can expect in this movie (without spoiler)

- SeoHyun's sexy side ♥
- Light comedy romance that's kind of predictable if you've watched a lot of romantic comedy before
- Mostly portrayal of BDSM on a simple and lighter way.
- No too much provocative scenes. It remained on the decent side (very unlike from 50 Shades trilogy movie)

If there's something that really stood out for me about this movie, it's the fact that it changed my ignorance about BDSM. I have always thought negatively about BDSM because I cannot understand why some people are into that however this movie made me realize that BDSM are merely self preference. It is not disgusting or strange. It's just that some people are really into that and we should respect that.

If you're a fan of SeoHyun, definitely watch it. If you're curious about BDSM, it's a beginner version with no too much skinship involved. If you're sensitive about seeing physical torture (mild) like being tied, slapped, stepped on, etc., you can skip this one. If you decided to watch it, I hope you liked it.

Short, sweet and feel-good movie you can watch anytime

I was amazed how they made the 10-minute short film worth it. There's nothing extraordinary and special about the story itself however it is simple, direct to the point and just sincere. That's the charm of this short film for me. This also made me an official shipper of YeoBin and YoungJae. They look amazing on-screen.

I definitely recommend that you watch this short film. It's so short that I might actually have spent more time writing this review than watching it. I swear your 10 minutes will be worth it.

Irrelevant and non-comedic

This supernatural movie did an excellent job for it's computer graphics and visual effects but seems to fall flat on its storyline.

There were lots of scenes that I think unnecessary and the story itself seems to be lacking. The premise where the main lead gained superpowers is understandable but the rest of the movie got me so bored that I only finished it since I started it anyway.

This is one of the movies usually suggested on my Netflix feed so I thought why not give it a try. I wasn't expecting anything because most of the Korean movies I've watched before always left me thinking why did I even watched it and this is definitely added on that list.

Don't get me wrong though, I felt like the message that the movie is trying to convey was good regarding the love between the father and daughter, it's just that it wasn't highlighted that way. And on the brighter side, it had a happy ending so I think all is well. The casts were actually good as well specially the father. He actually felt relatable and his portrayal is very realistic.

Overall, I don't love the movie much but I don't hate it either. It's more of a so-so. Maybe it's not my type of movie but other people might actually like it, so watch to see for yourself.

Unexpectedly great and very realistic drama

This is a little bit slow-burn drama. On the first 3 episodes I've watched I am like "another affair drama so cliché" but then it suddenly show it's true colors and made me really into it. And here I am, I finished the drama and can't get over it.

The storyline started as a mystery riddle on who the hell is this great man and good husband's mistress in the team. It was masterfully played as everyone seems to be the mistress until they start to reveal the life of these girls one by one. Woman 1, the girl who really looks sophisticated and elegant full of confidence and secrets. Woman 2, the girl with ambitions and a working mom trying to excel both at home and at work. Woman 3, the woman who looks really naive and nice with very low self-esteem and is deeply wounded. The wife who's almost perfect until she knew that his husband is cheating. I won't tell anymore about the story but so far this is the summary of the first 3 episodes that made me literally sleep.

All of the characters really justified the role realistically. I cannot imagine this drama with a different set of casts because it will really feel off. I love that I find myself rooting for the characters, cursing the characters and crying with the characters as if I'm part of them. I rarely feel connected in a drama in a way that I feel moved and relate to them as if it's happening to me. The songs used in this drama is very subtle and it fits perfectly in the mood. It wasn't overpowering and it definitely not distracting.

This drama really exceeds all of my expectations and has a lot of life lessons as to how to value yourself and deal with the struggles in the world. It's like a reminder that it's not just you. All I can say are words of praises for all the casts and writers and everyone who made this drama possible. It really deserved all the attention it got from the public and I really really recommend it.

Action filled with really unexpected twists and turns

If you want movies with a twist that will make you say, "Whoa, I didn't see that coming" this is the right pick. Plot-wise, it will bore you on the first half but then towards the end you will realize that the first half has a great contribution on why this movie ended with a BAAAAAM! And it's for you to find out why.

With the casts, of course Hyun Bin and Yoo JiTae are really one of the best actors I've watched. The supporting roles are also common faces in dramas and movies so it isn't hard for me to appreciate them together.

All throughout the movie you can also feel the tension and also the actions going on, but when you're about to figure it out, the gears will start changing and give you a different direction. I personally was taken aback and felt like I was conned myself.

Are you ready to dive in the world of con artists?

Drama that rose above criticisms

This drama started with bunch of criticisms but rise above everything to prove it's worth. Both YooJung and ChangWook proved their versatility as a professional actress and actor. It just so happens that Korean culture might be different than the rest of the world.

Th plot is cute and fresh. The comedy is made out of ridiculous scenes which are actually funny. YooJung and ChangWook's chemistry is romantically cute and funny. It wasn't the best romantic-comedy I've seen but I really loved the it. GeumBi and DalShik's romance is also one of the scenes I anticipated the most. More than romance, it also tackles family drama with a lot of heartfelt scenes that brought my eyes into tears.

There were some premises in this drama that might be uncomfortable for sensitive viewers like the fact that SaetByul is way too young for DaeHyun, but if these kind of things doesn't bother you, I can assure that this drama is worth the try.

What did I even watch?

I don't know what I expected when I watched this but I'm very disappointed. It even took me 3 days to finish this movie 'cause I ain't feel like watching it but somehow I know I need to finish it to move on.

There's a lot to unpack here. The story overall is messy. It kind of makes sense but not the most ideal way to present a story. When I read the plot I thought there was more to it but it was everything. Nothing more, nothing less. No twists and turns. Just the female lead getting her revenge. The end.

The only thing that I somewhat like about this movie is the classical music that was on the background. It's kind of relaxing after getting pissed by the movie itself.

Not something that I would really recommend to anyone. I was totally click-baited on Tiktok. Although, I should say if you want to watch it why not. Others seems to like it just fine. But definitely this is not my cup of tea.

Are you ready for your first drama counselling?

This is an unexpectedly good watch. I just randomly selected from the list of series I plan to watch and bumped on this hidden gem drama. Aside from Lee YooMi (that I've watched from All Of Us Are Dead) I don't know much about the other casts or I haven't seen them from other dramas that's why I'm a bit hesitant to start watching it but I'm really glad I did.

The story is so heartwarming and it brings up my emotions throughout the series and it taught me how to accept my wounds and start healing from them. And I love seeing the journey of the characters' ups and downs. It's never an instant medicine but it's a process and sometimes long process to heal from our emotions. Even if I'm not an athlete, I was able to relate to this series and I'm sure this will touch your hearts too. I find Jegal Gil funny too with his recklessness and attitude so I really enjoyed watching it.

If you're having second-thoughts about this series, don't fear and just watch it. It will be inspirational and worth your time so I definitely recommend it specially if you're going through something, you might find some healing on this series like I did.

Revelation of dark secrets of a school intertwined with the students and their high official parents

This crime, legal, mystery-suspense filled drama portrays the entangled and dark story of a school being reigned by privileged parents and their children creating an imbalance on a proper function of a school. Even though it was set on a high school, the plot is really dark and the tragic theme is all throughout the drama. The drama even started on the murder scene itself.

Plot-wise it's drama that will pique your interest by making you wonder what will gonna happen next and who is who although I felt like it lacks texture because the plot is linear. It's about the main lead trying to expose the dark truth about high officials and their privileged children which is the same with similar genre drama, the only difference are the details itself. There's a lot of complications introduced every episode that will confuse you but the flow of the story is linear, there are no plot twists to expect. There are also lots of illegal things that the main lead did that was absurd given he's a lawyer but I get that the intention is good. What I love on this drama though is that most dramas are just light that will make you feel a roller coaster of emotions from being sad to happy but this drama is not about those. While watching it, I felt the pain, the helplessness, and realized the absurdity of people. If you're into tragedy type of genre this is well recommended.

The casts here are new faces for me, aside from Yoon GyunSang whom I've seen from other dramas before and he's still a good actor. His character grew emotions throughout the film which he doesn't have when he was first introduced as a lawyer who only have eyes in winning cases. For the other new faces I don't have expectations. Geum SaeRok is a new face to me, she's good at being bubbly and being the 'good teacher' but since the story starts to become darker and heavier each episode I felt like she's a bit lacking on expressing negative emotions like sadness. Jun is the one that I mostly noticed here since his role has the most complexity. I saw how versatile his acting is because I also fell for his angelic attitude and when he switched into a bad guy mode, I literally cursed his character BeomJin.

Overall, I liked this drama and every episode I keep wanting for more. There are lots of things that I've learned her like life lessons together with the characters. I loved how each one of them grow from all the events and tragedies that happened. I felt like I was with them.

Interesting movie that will really stick on your mind after watching it. Really mind-blowing

The is the same as what you will expect once you heard that it's about a woman abducted forcefully to be locked up on a mental hospital, and a man who tries to uncover the mystery regarding the abduction in order for him to be back on his career. There were several times that I really doubted the story because I watched a movie before that has two possibilities so I thought, this movie might be wanting me to think she was insane but what if she isn't? I was getting ready on the twist this movie is offering, it didn't disappoint me and instead it actually left me mind-blown. None of the theories' I've come up is correct.

Lee SangYoon's character here is consistent all throughout the film and I think he pulled it off. Kang Ye Won on the other hand, amazed me on how great she pulled the character on this movie. It drove me insane really.

If you're ready to be crazy after watching this movie, you should probably watch this.

Unexpectedly thrilling, funny and ridiculous at the same time

When it comes to the story plot, it's actually unique given that it has all the genres you cannot possibly think of together. At first I thought it would be just a typical rom-com story just a different scenario but I was shocked because it explored drama and mystery genre while keeping it's romantic comedy side. It was good overall however the combination of mystery and comedy at some scenes makes it look childish to me because it shows how serious the character is then suddenly it becomes a comedy out of nowhere. Also at the ending part for the reveal, the story seems not connecting to me. It didn't gave much of what I expected like an impact or the 'wow factor'. But still a nice drama to watch for starter plus the story isn't that long either consisting 10 episodes.

The casts is like a bunch of good catch. I got to know new faces that I haven't seen before like the 2nd lead and also Mir, the main lead's rival.

It's irritating when the sounds gives off that creepy/mystery vibe because I think it's exaggerating. Sometimes I get confused about the emotions to feel. I'm not so sure if they want me to feel thrilled or if they want to make me laugh so I just ended up confused and appalled. But plus points for the songs that NakGu sang. It is sooooo cool. Double thumbs up for that.

The story is overall cute and it's also unpredictable so I might be part of the 'out-of-nowhere I want to re-watch' drama

Be careful what you wish for...

Seeing Suzy and Won Bin together in a drama already felt like a wish granted, the visuals, the chemistry, the acting? Pure perfection. Both of them carried their roles so well that I found myself smiling through most of it. But as much as I loved the casting and concept, the story itself didn’t quite live up to its potential.

The fantasy and psychopath mix was really interesting on paper, but as the episodes went on, some parts started feeling a bit half-baked. There were sub-stories that could’ve been deeper, and moments where I wished they’d slow down and explore more. Still, I love that the characters live in the grey area, not entirely good or bad, just people reacting to their circumstances. It gave the series a layer of realism amidst the fantasy.

It definitely gave me tons of laughs and a few heart squeezes, especially with the ending, finally, a happy one! I needed that healing after Uncontrollably Fond. Overall, it’s a solid watch for the chemistry and fun moments, though probably not one I’d rewatch anytime soon.

📌 Watch this if you’re into fantasy with a dash of dark humor, morally grey characters, and a cast that looks way too good to be real.

Love that tingles in nostalgia and cozy feelings

Love Untangled instantly unlocked my high school era and threw me back into that chaos of crushes, puppy love, and reckless decisions powered by zero foresight but maximum emotion. It captures that age when humiliation feels like the end of the world, yet you still dive headfirst because the butterflies are louder than your survival instincts. The vibe is youthful, messy in a cute way, and honestly just comforting.

I had a full ecosystem of butterflies flying laps in my stomach while watching this. The story stays light without being empty, and even without major complications, it still pulls out different emotions like it’s running its own little emotional variety show. It’s a simple premise executed with so much charm that you don’t even look for anything deeper. You just sit there, watch the kilig unfold, and feel your heart do that little giggle.

This is hands down a perfect ten for me. It’s warm, it’s sweet, it’s nostalgic, and it delivers exactly what it promises. If serotonin was a movie, it would look a lot like this.

Simple, Sweet, and Just the Right Amount of Crazy

I’ve really missed seeing Yoona in movies and dramas, so Pretty Crazy was such a nice treat. It’s funny, light, and gives that fluttery “crush” feeling, nothing groundbreaking, but charming in its own way.

Story-wise, it follows the familiar rom-com formula. It’s not exactly predictable, but it does feel a little short on depth, like it could’ve explored more. Still, it’s touching in small moments and doesn’t try to be more than what it is which is a fun, feel-good watch.

📌 Watch this if you want a short, funny, and easy-to-enjoy rom-com sprinkled with Yoona’s charm that’ll leave you smiling, even if just a little.

The Zone 2.0

I don't have high hopes for this new season given how confused I am with Season 1 but I guess Season 2's a charm. I thought it just started off good on the 1st episode but as I watched through them, Season 2 is definitely a revamped version. I love how the episodes/simulations has more structure to it unlike Season 1 where I feel like everything's all over the place.

Aside from us seeing the coward duo face their fears (which is almost everything although the top ones are ghosts and heights), we kind of see them more on a more team-like dynamic. On Season 1, I felt like YuRi is just carrying the team but this Season 2, we start to see them work together (although there's still a lot of bickering here and there) I am not exactly sure what changed but this season is more fun to watch and much more relatable to me.

Now, I am looking forward to Season 3 (if Disney+ still have plans of renewing it) Yoo-Lee duo on variety shows never gets old so I'll always watch out and root for them.
