Because it's obsessive, Hwa Gun's love for the king is more understandable than love between the king and Ga Eun imo. The main leads have only meet once and were watching fireflies then the king found her pretty, made a mess and eventually got her dad killed and then asked Ga Eun to leave with him because they LOVE each other- I was like O_O when watching haha Now I can't feel the romance at all. Hwa Gun's love is very interesting because it isn't "healthy" but she,as of now, knows the boundaries and tries to control herself. And about Hwa Gun betraying her family, saving the prince was going against them but betrayal sounds too harsh.

The love story in Emperor is what bothers me the most- I'm talking about the relationship between Ga Eun and the king. It was forced from the beginning and that's why it feels weird and fake. The relationship between the king and the second lead is a lot more interesting. You are do right about my sassy girl. I didn't meet my expectations, only the cast is good. :((

This is already my second favourite airing drama. I like it much more than The Emperor: Owner of the mask.

Yeees the scene with Lee Sun and Ga Eun was pointless. And I thought that the prince/king was supposed to become more mature but nah he is a drama queen now. Ga Eun puts herself in danger and makes that grumpy face, ridiculous.

The story as well as the characters aren't special. As for the romance, it started out of the blue and is weird. The prince has found her pretty and now they love each other? Can't feel it at all, almost no chemistry between actors imo. Btw Ga Eun isn't an interesting character just a really pure and helpfull girl. I like Hwa Gun a lot more and actually ship her with the prince.

I've watched 6 eps and a half of 7th- it become awfuly dull. K changed in a weird way and pretty much everything got messed up making the drama uninteresting. Moreover, annoying misunderstandings started and when I think that they will now make the romance stronger... I feel a disaster. Complete turn off.

Agents are great but I always find something that bothers me and eventually drop those action dramas.

When does it air?

I didn't like any of the leading ladies who played with Ji Chang Wook in those top dramas so I'm really happy now because this time I pretty much like the actress and the character she is playing. <3
