Just done with this show. I'd say it's very well made with two charismatic leads, though it got a little draggy in the middle. Would have been perfect with 8 - 9 episodes. FL sold her role perfectly as the gentle caring teacher and ML as the stubborn rebellious young boy.
The only show I can compare with is Majo no Jōken, which is superior in every way; leads, plot, ost etc. Majo is 9.5/10. This show is easily 8 - 8.5/10.
Watching episode 1 now and thinking this show is so logically flawed.
You can simply show a photo of a random "deceased" person (but still alive actually) and ask the contestants to guess the cause of death. I'm sure they will make up a cause and all of them will be exposed instantly and the show will be over.
Just finished this. This show felt more grounded than One Litre of Tears. While the latter was produced with the intention of making you cry, this show made you see clearly what's going through on the day to day changes of someone suffering from ALS.
Personally, the show didn't make me feel life is worth living or whatsoever. I think ML should have gone to Switzerland and leave with dignity while he can. I don't believe all lives are worth living. Watch the movie 'Me Before You' and you'll get what I mean.

IRL the actor did leave with dignity. RIP.
