i really love how wholesome the main couple is. they have such chemistry together and their relationship was so healthy. the knowing eye contact that communicates the understanding they have is lovely to watch. the hand holding, the hugs, the words exchanged. so much chemistry and their love is so believable.
also the kisses! were passionate and intense yet still so sweet and gentle at the same time. they really looked so good together. the FL has always been known for kissing well so for the ML in his debut to match her level is truly impressive and made for a great watch. i cannot get over how he held her.
i can't believe it has ended!!! 😠i think the death was pointless but overall the show had a really good ending. it wrapped up the corruption issues well and the squad remained besties who are in this together. their friendship remains so tight it's beautiful to watch.
kang daniel did so well in the fighting scenes and with his father! the flying kick to jo hansol, and the very, very emotional exchange with his father afterwards. i love how emotional his eyes are.
this was his acting debut yet delivered FOUR amazing kiss scenes i am so impressed 😂 it's so rare especially since it's his first role and he's an idol. i do appreciate that he takes the acting world so seriously and put in this much effort. this is just the beginning of his acting career so it makes me wonder what greater things he will do in his next role lol!
Agreed. As heartbreaking as they were, I really enjoyed those parts. I like more subtle acting, not everyone shows…
from being the confident man that he is, with utmost trust in the police system and his father holding him steady on what is right, he suddenly became so fragile and vulnerable with so much doubt and confusion to process.
his scene with prof when asking about the photo is my favourite scene of the new episodes aside from in front of his house with tak and his father. he just collapsed further inside and it was so painful to watch him just break more.
that scene was done so well with his voice getting shakier and him crumbling further with that relevation.
i can't believe this drama is already ending next week. there's such a serious tone shift in the new episodes and i hope the writer is able to wrap it up well and give us a Disney happy ending.
i like that the ML channels all the emotions internally and subtly. he's dealing with his world crashing down and the extreme shift in dynamics with the key people in his life and trying to process everything. i don't think that anger/frustration/pain should always be aggressively displayed and violently acted out. like with jo hansol, i find it over acting and sometimes quite off and unconvincing. i prefer that the ML is showing the hurt in his expressions instead of lashing out and yelling as not everyone is that explicit about the pain they are dealing with. it feels more....human in a way. tak's outbursts suit his character well and seunghyun's internal struggles is also very himself and i really like the contrast in how they display their emotions.
also shows how meaningful their friendship is. they are such different people who face their problems in their own ways yet they are such best buddies. the writer needs to give us these best bros back.
The drama is fun so far, I actually think the ML's acting is fine and it fits his serious character well. The FL is very experienced and is playing a lively bubbly role so it is expected that she may appear to be carrying the mood for now. I do think the show seems to also be a bit too focused on her still, wonder when the ML will get his spotlight. Enjoying how this seems to be a friendship squad drama, hoping that the rest of the episodes will emphasise on their friendships and not get too deep into the dark side of things, which I'm not too interested in tbh.

i'm so sad that it's over.
