A friend of mine join his fan cafe in Naver, she said Jisoo often posted in there, greeting his fans, and he's very healthy. So for those who wonder how he's doing, don't worry, he's 100% fine.
I don't know anything about his situation but these issues/accusations around bullying seem to come up a lot and cause a lot of scandal. And when I see that, I often think there are many things that people due between the ages of 13-18 that they would NEVER do as adults. Why? Because they are children and their brains and consciences are still developing. An adult should apologize for wrongs they committed on others as children but their whole lives should not be judged and destroyed because of mistakes made as children (unless they continue said behavior into adulthood which is a different story). I say this not diminishing, at all, the lasting damage that bullying can have on some victims. So much can be said about this issue but I do wish the large scale conversation was more nuanced.
the thing is, everyone who was involved in any form of "bullying scandal" was forgiven/forgotten.. that's double standers, and so are the ppl bullying someone without fully knowing the story, jisoo became a victim of false accusations, and ppl turn a blind eye on that truth
Jisoo was one of my most fav actors since sassy go go and after the 2021 thing, I was greatly disappointed but honestly it’s been so long… I really miss him. As a victim of bullying when I was young, I promised myself to disown him but the more I think of it the more I like to believe that people grow, mature and realise the gravity of some things. He really did pay for his shit by losing a nice career and many fans so I think it’s fair to have him active again after military.
