this is such a good show.... but every time i think i should rewatch it... i feel exhausted not just bcs of the number of episodes but the emotional drain the show might put me through! Lol Bittersweet! But such a fabulous show that really is good for someone who is watching the first time - Great Adventure!
That's a new comparison. I've been reading a lot of people comparing it to a movie (which I've never seen)
ah i see lol i think it more of friends... bcs the three men dont really take care of the baby that much since(and plus) the mom is still in the picture ... maybe they borrowed the jungki and bongdoo respective jobs/hobbies from the movie.... Friends is more like it since there are 3 men and 3 women in friends and there are couple within those 6 people... plus their life, dreams and age range part thats very similar as well.
I am only on episode 3 and this drama blew my mind lol... when watching the first ep i found the concept a little unnerving probably bcs it was so different... but afterwards blew my mind!
it starts out good (raised my expectation given the concept and characters) and halfway through it starts to becomes boring and the plot goes very very slow and becomes a little bit of a slice of life kinda show (but does not reach the standard of "Just between Lovers") .... resulting simply in a boring show (but NOT too boring that I will have to gouge my eyes out) .... I think they made this show probably bcs they had some monies left over the master budgets and thot EH MIGHT AS WELL make some random plot show (producers thots: lets make sth similar to Just between Lovers and change the venue to radio show and make some monies.... but they ended up making a duck - this show - instead of replicating a swan - JBL)! PLUS the whole doctor friend was just stupid... his character was all over the place and completely unnecessary - resulting in me to feel like cracking an egg on my head or his head if possible lol! Also the male and female leads acted well but did not shine! the plot was simply not good enough for the audience to care about them that much eitherways lol!
However you should note that it is mildly entertaining here and there... the two competing duo at the female lead's radio company are a hoot! they are so fun and good comedic relief! .....the bodyguard/driver of the male lead was so cute and acted wonderfully given the script he had to work with and am pretty sure he would have made more impact if he were given a chance to play stronger role!......the moms of the leads were contrasting to each other and the actress who played male leads mom as a kinda evil character was very well done but the characters ending/ turnaround was not that great - the plot was the flaw and not acting in this case).... the child actors deserve some special mention, they played the characters well.....The PD's character (second male lead) was fun at first and then it just got plain after a while which is i guess not a big downer but okay.
Overall MEH is the word for this show! If you have already watched all the good and average shows and have finished with all your extra chores and work etc and then have watched the all the 'okay' shows.... and you have free time still left.... perhaps then you can watch this show! :)

Is this show any good? I liked ice fantasy, but finished that and am left wanting more.
there is ice fantasy destiny.... the sequel is not as interesting/colorful and vivid as the first one.... it still give you a lot of closure and.... thats all that matters sometimes :P
i am wondering how many realized that the grandmother (owner of the magical items shop) is a representation of the korean samsin halmoni! The goddess is in Goblin (the show) as well!
