all i could surmise was that ZV and DD were in a relationship of sorts... they broke up.... DD goes to brothel as a maid after which Wayne goes as well as he is very curious (ep 1) .... then return back to Leihou Manner (i think) (ep 2 and 3) along with Chou Vic and then we are introduced to ZV - another disciple at the manon.... after that no clue lol
Synopsis appears to be incorrect. Think it was copied over from Viki and they get them wrong all the time.

ZV is the only good thing about this drama. I came here for Dilraba, whose acting is great given what she had…
Watched till ep 38... then just got tired of how long it was so skipped to 48.... good show! And yes i agree... ZV is the only good thing about this drama! there was some plotholes but i guess it is a tv show so yeah... plus it is also rightly tagged as melodrama given the slow pace of the show....
i wish they showed maybe like ZV being even more smart and good ruler which would be nice....... plus the show depicts the Qin dynasty as ruthless n stuff but one should note Han Dynasty was the first instance at which point history was recorded in East Asia .... and since Han dynasty succeeded Qin dynasty, there is obvious bias to make the Qin dynasty seem more ruthless.

also can someone explain the last 5 minutes show... very confused without the subs.... i know they are not happily togethar and then in the rain in front of the house they cry and separate why?
On a separate note... i love how sierra got revenge of Han ru chu finally and how sieera and dylan became more closer after that yay! :)
saw the anime (2 seasons) ... longest hours of my life lol given the whole lot of misunderstandings.... but figured i should give the show a chance primarily bcs of Li Sierra was the lead.... based on the raw version i can tell its just a whole lot of misunderstandings again.... and way toooooo much creation of angst in the audience lol.... Not my cup of tea!... whoever came up with the script is either a genius (if their intention was to create drama/ angst/ unnecessary misunderstanding to fully engage audience) or a complete fool if that was not the intention lol
frankly this is so much better than the korean version plus big fan of Zhang Vin!Also had to fast forward a lot…
also more information: the male lead finally realizes the real childhood friend in episode 30 (so thats like 75% of the show) and i am just putting this out there.... it is the same episode that she miraculously become beautiful lol
Also episodes 39 and 40 are just plain boring in some manner... the show ties up minor loose ends and includes more romance stuff
i only came to this page bcs i was curious lol...... I saw yang mi in eternal love... she was so good.... saw the trailer for this show but it did not peak my interest lol.... guess i liked her more as Aunt/ Goddess Bai Qian... and nothing more.
