Like OP said, mad respect to Ha Ji Won. After a 4-year hiatus, she came back bolder than ever. Considering she even thought about quitting acting, choosing to return with a role like this is incredibly brave and admirable. It really shows her dedication to her craft. We should continue to give her lots lots of support moving forward, she truly truly deserves it 🥹

the drama was never promoted as a gl or wlw series. itʼs a subplot that was supposed to surprise all of us and it did. this is just a subplot that adds up to the main plot. the director and ha jiwon herself never mentioned it. never. itʼs always been promoted as a political drama.
