well i get what you’re saying, and i understand why those character choices can feel frustrating, especially if you went in hoping to watch a story purely about admirable women doing something inspiring 🤣
that said, and how i formulated it was not exactly right but listen, i don’t think the point of the series is to present them as flawless role models. like ive mentioned earlier (not formulated in the right way too, i apologize) but i think the plot seems more focused on showing complex, very human women, people who are capable, driven, and doing important work, but who also have messy personal lives and make bad decisions. it’s less about admiring them unconditionally and more about exploring power, morality, loyalty, and the REAL consequences.
if anything, their flaws are meant to create tension and realism rather than turn them into caricatures. you don’t have to like their actions, but I don’t think the show is trying to say “these are perfect women to look up to” 🤣 it’s trying to show that even strong, successful people can be deeply imperfect..
