Are you saying a 19 yr old who is a legal adult by law must not date a 31 yr old? I understand that there are cultural nuances ,but in some cultures 19 yr olds are already moms and are legally married.
Once more, I have no dog in this fight just trying to really understand. I know that the fact he knew her while she was younger creates the impression of "grooming'' ,I'm talking about a scenario where there was no prior knowledge.

I remember how she was mocked and ridiculed when a picture of her working as a barista at a coffee shop was released long after her Dui incidence .They mocked her saying she was pretending to be good and humble to get back into entertainment. Honestly I don't get human behavior. She passes and all of a sudden she is now this innocent girl who did no wrong and her death and everything that happened in her life must be KSH's fault.
No one cared about her mental/emotional health or whatever led her to drink so recklessly after the DUI.No one encouraged her after she had paid the fines and restitution.No one cared about her mounting debt.

I'm no huge fan of KSH and have no dog in this fight but the hypocrisy from people is disgusting. They were calling for investigations but now that the results don't favor their narrative they reject it.
This is how people are hounded to death.Most of the people screaming for his blood will say they believe in innocence until proven otherwise. It's all just hyper emotions and hyper outrage with these folks.

About the female lead forgiving him easily, obviously she does have a massive admiration/crush for him. Since meeting him she teleports everywhere, saw the Northern Lights with him, her health improved, she has a new sense of purpose in life.
Prior to meeting him all she did was peel onions for grandma, never left Haesong,falls ill and fears she might die anytime.
She also discovers the evil that took place for her to have a heart.
She's a bit of an airhead but with plenty of heart.

1.Un Jeong was suffering from very severe PTSD and probably other trauma inflicted mental health issues, also had substance abuse. He was tortured as a kid, taken from his family, had no real memory of his family, saw so many kids tortured, suffers from guilt for causing the explosion which saved some lives but took his friend's life and others.He experiences terrible nightmares of his past and wants to find his mom to give his life some healing/normalcy.
2.Dr Ha also tells him his time is short because he is suffering from side effects ,it makes him more desperate to find his mom.
3.He discovers chaeni's grandma contributed to the horrors they experienced, and gave his friends heart to chaeni.
4. Dr Ha deceives him and the others, that the eternal heart is for the good of mankind and will heal their defects meanwhile he was going to give it to the sick old dude for money.Un Jeong also thinks he can right his wrongs to the kids by doing this.
5.Yes what he did was horrible but we also see he is conflicted from the get go and this shows by putting coffee jelly in chaeni's pockets and willing to go meet chaeni's grandma.
Just like the Wunderkinder,Horan,Juran and Palho wanted vengeance because they were mentally messed up.

Really ,after they kidnapped him,wouldn't let him be, threw onions on his face ,nearly tore off his hands etc etc .

Did you see how much joy and excitement she got from seeing him use his powers and helping her discover and control her superpowers? She really came alive after she met him. She regained her health,she got to see the Northern lights with him, got a kiss and found purpose in her life. She was totally smitten by him.

I don't disagree with you but apology was him going back to rescue her and risking his life to do so, plus the kiss(fulfills her bucket list)

(On a lighter note I see it as revenge for all the slaps she gave him ....hahahaha, so he put the coffee in her pockets knowing she'd be smart enough to use them to escape while deceiving the villains and still getting info about his mom)

If you like actors over contorting their faces ...good for you. I like his calm ,cool demeanor and I watch his eyes ,he is good .Good enough for me.

It's now nos 1 on Netflix korea and 7 other asian countries.I'd say he's doing pretty good.Kudos to the rest of the cast.Drama is doing very well.

Very shocking twist.But severe childhood trauma followed by 20 years of loneliness, guilt,hurt and pain can make you do crazy stuff.He also thought he was helping the other kids who survived but had defects....still crazy I know.
