i suppose im a bit bias as someone who has lost out on their first love, but the ending made me bawl. i really don't understand what everyone is so critical of.
i thoroughly enjoyed the entire drama from beginning to end, and this is the first time i've finished a drama the day the last episode airs. i really don't know what else to say but that the ending portrayed was realistic. and the people criticizing and deeming unnecessary that na heedo regrets it as her 2020 present self, are sorely mistaken because of course they did it for their own good, but they'll always have that hurt in their heart as it's their first love so even if they've moved on with their lives, there's always a little regret. it's a refreshing representation of inexplicable pain.
song kang is so precious in this drama, and park min young is just my fav per usual. i also wasn't sure it would work when i first saw the casting but after ep 2, im no longer thrown off and i can't wait for next week !!
that is why it is called criminal justice. in all three adaptations, ending was like that. after sentencing, he…
as much as i would've loved a more fulfilling ending, i get it now.
i suppose it creates more of an impact because of the frustration you feel for hyun soo simply being released with no compensation for the trauma he has just been through. and that you don't get the satisfaction of watching the the real killer being sentenced instead.
i stand by my statement of it being underwhelming, because those were regardless the feelings i felt while watching the ending, but i can respect the meaning behind it.
Kinda underwhelmed with the ending cuz after they found out who the real killer was, they were just like, "oh…
I want to make it clear that I enjoyed the rest of the drama, and that Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won did a fantastic job acting, but I was just expecting more for the ending.. I don't know. It feels greedy of me to say that because I really did enjoy the drama, but yeah.
Kinda underwhelmed with the ending cuz after they found out who the real killer was, they were just like, "oh btw he confessed and you're free to go now" which I was expecting a little more?? At the minimum, if not some background on the character, then at least a flashback to show what really happened, as in the killing scene. Like the killer cutting up the fruit in her room, or coming through the back door, with hyun soo passed out not noticing.
There was also a lack of showing how he will get back to his normal life, or if it's even possible. I kept asking myself those questions, and yet the only things that were really shown is that he now smokes (implying the experience changed him), and that the people in the neighbourhood feel uncomfortable (MURDERER spray painting on his house). Other than that, there was not much else.
I get that they were probably trying to focus on the injustice of the judicial system but still, underwhelming.
an ax was legit thrown at shin joong han. idk about you but that drops all my suspicions for anyone else as to who killed her cuz he did not hesitate when attempting to kill w that ax.
i originally thought maybe with the lsd kim hyun soo took, he might have actually done it and she was enjoying it just like at the table cuz they couldn't feel anything under the influence. and then he would not remember anything cuz of the drugs. but i've thrown that theory out the window after that ax was thrown, and also that im convince they have the wrong murder weapon.
