Nostalgic self-insert story - big pass
I thought I would have fun watching this because of my childhood affection for the HZGG seasons (all 3 of them!) but I think I was just bamboozled by the nostalgia. This is a self-insert story where Lin Sui Sui is the Coolest, Specialest, Prettiest, Funniest, Best Girl in the World who gets all the main HZGG plots and is best friends with XYZ and ZW and is the target of the villain, the Empress, etc. It was fine at first, but then I realized I was only watching this to hear the theme song and see the brief scenes with the HZGG characters. I was literally playing Animal Crossing whenever Lin Sui Sui and Jing Yuan were on, so... I had to stop.
On the other hand, the HZGG character casting of the main 4 were lovely!!! I loved the XYZ and ZW castings and the boys were so cute too!
