This drama pulled me out of my drama slump. Really really loved it and I'm feeling sort of empty after finishing it.
My favourite part of the drama was definitely the character sketches of SaeRoyi and YiSoe. Admired both the leads and found them so inspiring ,which happens rarely in the case of kdramas for me personally. Such a different female lead from usual but she has my heart despite all her flaws. She was exactly the kind of partner SaeRoyi needed.

Lee Hwashin had me floored! Such an incredible actor. So natural and effortless onscreen. His comic timing is extraordinary. Singing, dancing and what not<3 Really hope he picks up another good drama soon. Two hours of a movie is just not enough :(

This was such a perfect show, at least for me. I waited with excitement every single week until the end which doesn't happen often. 24 episodes of awesomeness wasn't nearly enough. Going straight into my all-time favourite list. Hwashin-Nari are relationship goals <3 Very rarely do we see such easy comfort level, understanding and raw honesty between a couple in dramaland. The show was all sorts of crazy, weird and fun that it got me so attached. OSTs were super good, all the side characters were fun n awesome, the chemistry was off the charts and the humour was just something else. Jo Jung Suk and Gong Hyo Jin were both so so good.

I'm gonna miss this show so bad :( I'll miss Hwashin the most. The man child who is brutally honest, has a mountain sized pride, knows only hard love and is pathetically cute even with his tantrums. I hope Jo Jung Suk bags all the awards. He deserves it. So damn underrated for such a natural actor. He brought the character to a whole another level which noone else could have done. Also, hope to see him back in another show soon.
Bye bye Jealousy Incarnate . Not ready to let you go yet :'(

I just hope they don't pull out the cancer card towards the end and make something drastic happen to Hwashin :( It will be taking the easy way out of the triangle mess. They treated the issue so lightly till now. I am afraid it will all take a turn around suddenly. The possibility is always hanging in the air with Nari talking about something happening to him even in the latest episode.

I really can't believe I am so hooked to a show and thoroughly enjoying the unpredictablility even after 17 episodes.
Hwashin is seriously something else lol. So pathetically cute and lovable even while acting like a narcissistic jerk. He is so blunt about his feelings.

Flashback with nerdy Hwashin and the the rant of his ex gf were hilarious lmao

Loved loved the fact that there were too many Hwashin Nari scenes in the last episode. Give me more!!

JJS GHJ combination scenes are pure gold!! So much sexual tension in both the bed scenes and they weren't even doing anything lol.

So much cuteness all around <3 This drama is such a fun watch. The two leads are so adorable together!! The actors share such a cute chemistry despite the age gap everyone kept talking about.

Love love love this <3 The most adorable romcom kdrama ever. I just keep rewatching it from time time. Have lost count of how many times I rewatched but still never get tired of this one. I wish there were more dramas like this one :(
Shin Min Ah was such a cutie here. So much energy and adorable to the max. LSG was cute too : $

Park Shin Hye is honestly carrying the whole show by herself. She is brilliant here and her character is really good too. I think the show itself is a nice watch though there is nothing too good to rave about. KRW's character is a little bland and boring. That takes my interest away from the main romance. Jung Yoon Do is a cutie <3 I wish Jisoo had more screenspace though I don't think it's happening :( He's such a scene stealer whenever he appears <3
I honestly keep looking forward to Hye Jung's scenes with Yoon Do as I watch the episodes. Those two work well for some reason. Hye Jung's dynamics with Seo Woo is interesting too.

I haven't enjoyed a drama this much in a very long time. Brilliant cast, amazing production value, enough content…
Whatever be the reason, it's still phenomenonal. And the team worked hard for it. Ratings are dropping not bcz more people are seeing it but bcz more butthurt people are hating on it. As you said it is human nature. You hate the fact that DOTS achieved what Healer couldn't when you like Healer better. Ratings on MDL does not mean shit anyway. DOTS is a phenomenon and you can wait and see all you want. Bitter people will still spew hate but it has set a standard in Korea. The actors and team got the success they deserved.

BTW second lead couple here has the typical story which is social status difference and parental opposition. So it just shows you prefer same old stuff lol.Excuse me for liking something other than that with a career oriented female lead who actually has other practical reasons for not jumping into a romance.Rating of DOTS went up after every single episode and reached above 38. People wouldn't have tuned in every other day if it was sòoooooooo plain as you said ;) Dont undermine other's intelligence and taste just to show yourself better. And you wouldn't be on this page every single day checking on its ratings and hating on it if you actually thought the drama was not worth it. It just shows it is significant and how badly you want to hate on it and make it fail at least here if not in real world. I prefer DOTS over Healer cz you don't need such complex stuff always. Second half of Healer was very messy according to me. But you dont see me hating on Healer every other day and voting it down. Although its true that my liking for JCW has went down due to this blind hate by his frustrated fans lol. Ifsome of us love cheesiness, it's upto us. DOTS had more ups and downs in every episode than your average drama lol. So you just does not want to see it. That's all.

Anyway I'm done. Not gonna reply further to people who don't wanna see reason. Just continue spending your time hating on something instead of loving what you like lol. Not childish at all ;)

Oh yeah!! Anyone with a taste different than yours has a bad taste apparently. As I already said before, DOTS is centred around internal conflicts of its leads and their sense of duty. I think only a guy being all spiderman jumping on roofs while casually uncovering his birth secret and conveniently meeting and falling love with star-crossed lover with yet another birth secret and abuse history qualifies as a PLOT LINE for you. But there are people like us who can appreciate much more normal and breezy stuff as long as it entertains us. A simple romance and the way two people learn to accept each other while their beliefs and ideals are completely opposite from the person in front of you. Who cares if it does not satisfy your definition of plot line? Majority loves it and you are just plain bitter about it. Your posts show nothing but frustration lol. I won't be wasting my time daily visiting the page of a drama I apparently hate and has 'no plot'. Maybe it's not a magic spell binding others but just your insecurity stopping you from seeing the drama for what it actually is. A breezy entertainer which has more than enough plot to hold people's interest unless it is blind hatred which is your case.

The drama which started my obsession for kdramas. The drama that I have rewatched the most number of times. Such an adorable romcom with a heart <3 Both the main lead characters are amazing with YEH and GY excelling in their roles. I really hope to see GY in a similar romcom soon. He's too adorable to be missing from my screens for too long.

I haven't enjoyed a drama this much in a very long time. Brilliant cast, amazing production value, enough content and happenings in every episode that kept me hooked, such lovable characters and bonds, awesome humour and the best set of OSTs. It followed the lifes of the main characters and was more about their sense of duty and internal struggles than anything else. Such a refreshing change from the never ending birth secrets and triangle bullshit which is pushed down our throats in the name ofhaving a plotline lol. DOTs showed it is not necessary, you can still create a drama which people love without such stuff.

It is a fact that people are hating on DOTS just bcoz it is popular. You just hate the fact that it is not the drama of your bias which got THIS big. The same people like such ridiculously makjang dramas. There is a reason why DOTS is hugely popular across so many countries. There is a reason why people who could never get into kdramas before are totally in love with it due to DOTS. There is a reason why it created a wave and pulled up ratings to an all new high with people raving about it everywhere you see.

People bring up Signal just to show DOTS down. Some pseudointellectuals here just want to show that their tastes are higher than mere mortals like us. Not everyone wants to sit through a drama like Signal and rack their brains in their evenings no matter how good they are. Majority likes watching a quality production with good acting which can help you unwind at the end of your day. And that's exactly what DOTS is. The other set I see is the Healer fans. Excuse us for liking something with no birthsecrets or undercover operations. Just live and let live. Stop hating out of spite. Even if you spew hate here, it doesnt change the fact that DOTS is the biggest Kdrama phenomenon right now and will remain as a standard for a long time to come.
