I just wanted to say some things since i went to japan and korea so... for the tiny city in Tokyo, the hang out/shopping area are always the same, so we often run into people we know. We were like "s*** how can we run into him in shinjuku, it's so big" and we were "OMG what's happen in drama can be true ! O.o" I don't know anybody in Seoul but i guess it could be the same.
Ah ! asia and stuff leaver ! I was so surprised when i saw students left their computers, phones and wallets on the table, to go to the toilets" I'm not a robber but sometimes i though " a mac book for free could be great... where are the pickpocket...?" it was hard to come back home and always take care of my bag.
For the waste of food, I never see so waste of food and drink ! they are in spirit of consommation, they don"t finish their food, coffee, cigarettes. With our japeneses friends we always finish all the plates before leaving. because well we paid for it >.< And they look at us like we are some ogres ^^
the drag to the city make me laugh. when you think they can tell you "let's take the taxi, it's far, we have 10 minutes walk" (japeneses) but! never trust koreans men, "we just have to walk 10min" well we walked for 1h >.<
